Long Term Goals Split Into Smaller Goals
If you have a long term goal like starting a business, there are many steps needed.
I'd like to be able to write down all the steps needed to accomplish my goal, and mark each one as I go along. This will show how far you've come, how far you've got to go and what you need to do next.
12 votesThis can be done with a Milestones tracker, or multiple of the other types. We are planning to expand the Milestones tracker concept with tasks.

Note or comment
One of my goals is starting January first that I create our cook a new dish once a week. I would like to add a comment as what it is that I cooked. I already created the goal.
1 voteVery cool, totally understand. To add a note to a log, tap the log icon on the left side of the Dashboard (rather than swiping to log) and there’s a note button just below the popup.
Tap that, enter your note, and go back to log Yes or No. To see past notes, tap History from the same popup view, or tap the tracker then the button in the top right, and you’ll see a table with all your past logs and their notes.
Have a great day!

Web accessible forum
Mobile is perfect for many things, but I generally find it suboptimal for interacting with forums.
1 voteHi Julian, totally agree.
We added the mobile version to the app, but you can also view it on a computer. e.g. https://strides.uservoice.com/forums/249947-vote-on-features/suggestions/10878954-web-accessible-forum
Have a great day!

Quick increment/decrement count
I'd like to be able to increment or decrement a count directly from the dashboard board view without having to go through the popular dialog, then use the number pad to enter a number.
95% of the time when I'm recording an action, I'm doing the exact same thing each time -- adding 1.
And increment would be more valuable than decrement, if I had to pick one.
1 voteFor incrementing, we recommend using a Habit tracker, which allows you to swipe right to log 1 Yes, without having to type the number.
We don’t offer decrementing this way because it’s so uncommon, but it can be done from the History view. Have a great day!

We did this with push notifications on iOS, which we’ll also have for the Android app when it’s released, and we’re working on progress report emails as well.

Pause goals
Maybe this is already available, but the ability to pause goals would be great.
1 voteThe best way to pause goals for things like vacation is to turn off their alerts. The app has been coded in a very flexible way to handle this, only considering the time periods in which you’ve logged, so if you don’t get alerts for the week you’re gone, and you don’t log the whole week, it won’t count against you.

Dairy mode
Keep track of your progress by adding personal notes and comments.
1 voteTo add a note / diary entry with your log, tap the Log icon on the right side of the Dashboard, then tap Notes just below the popup.
We’re planning to add a more powerful Notes feature in the future, which would include normal notes (not tied to an individual log) and a way to view all of your Log notes in one place.

Have dropdown or segment for different goal genre (weekly goals, monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc)
On the side or somewhere, have a spot to stack goals into different categories. I can have just my categories of Year goals, Month goals, and Week goals, then quickly just click once and they will drop down to show the actual goals for each category, instead of having dozens of goals all floating on one dashboard
3 votesGreat idea! Tags & Filters can be used to do this (dropdown on the Dashboard with Tags for Weekly, Monthly, etc).

Target value miscalculation
I have created a tracker with type "My goal is to reach target value of x by date". If i set a start value and turn on "Add to total" option, the difference of the target and current value is miscalculated. For example: start value: 1000, end value 5000 (it says "5000 to go"). Log 1: 100, log 2: 200 and it says "4700 to go"instead of "3700 to go"

Export
The ability to export the data to for instance an excel sheet. Or the ability to export the data to a PDF

Swipe to left to mark the activity as complete
Similar to how you can swipe an email to the left to get additional option (trash, mark as read), it would be great that from the dashboard screen you can quickly go down your list of activities and quickly mark each one. You currently have to click on the chart icon that opens a dialog box for marking. I think by staying on the same page you would be able to work through your activities quicker.

Write down the reason
A feature that the user can write down the reason why they're making/quitting the habit. It'll be sort of like a statement. Ideally the app can remind the user with the reason, especially when they're not making a good progress. I think it'll make the user more committed to the app.
2 votesJust finished this up, so it’ll be in the v4.0 update we’re submitting to Apple very soon!

One time goal
A one time goal option instead of weekly or monthly based habits
1 voteThis is best done with Target or Project trackers. Habits and Average goals are meant to be done repetitively. Thanks!

Wrong Dates
The apps is showing the wrong dates for all my plans despite I have set it on a different dates. For example, I have planned it to start on 1st of October, however it keeps showing 30th of September. And sometimes randomly change to 29th September.

Make the alert editable
Once you create a stride goal, you can't change the alert unless you create a new goal for the same thing. It would be so nice to be able to edit the goals you make (the title, the alert settings, etc.)
3 votesThanks for reaching out! To edit a tracker (alert, name, goal, etc), tap it on the Dashboard, then tap the blue settings icon in the bottom right. Have a great day!

Ability to retro enter data
Went on a camping trip and still made progress but was unable to enter data until a couple days later but was unable to enter data later resulting in all my streaks being broken (even-though they really weren't)...
1 voteTo backlog data, tap History under the Log popup (or tap the tracker, then tap the icon in the top right), and you’ll see a table with every day since the Start Date. From there, you can add/edit logs to your heart’s content! :)

Add values-based organizing
Allow the ability to add values to a goal and organize goals by values.
1 voteThanks Kent! Glad you saw the “Multiple Dashboards” idea too. :)
We’re about to release a big update with Tags & Filters that will be great for value-based organizing. Have a great day!

View progress history further back
When I view my stats on a goal/habit I intuitively try to swipe left to go back and see my progress bars from prior weeks. I think this should be a feature. I would like to be able to scroll back to view a longer history than just what immediately visible on screen.
Thanks!23 votesThis is possible with the bottom bar charts for Habits & Average Goals.
We’ll look into doing this with Target as well, though it’s not as useful since the line chart shows everything back to the Start Date.
