  3. Look and feel and dashboard improvements please, please!

    Hello,

    I can't find an email address for you so am posting here. Have just taken out a 1-month subscription and want to take out a yearly one. But two things are stopping me:

    1. Dark Mode: you say that this was designed back in November but that you are waiting until the release of ios13. Can I ask why you would wait so long? Dark Mode is imperative and clearly one of the most requested features. Will you be releasing it before September? If not, I might be forced back to Habitify...and your app is much better in many respects…

  4. Ability to categorize type of entries, ie. daily habit, weekly habit, project with end dates, etc.

    It would be great if you can customize how these would show, either being completely customizable or at least the option to separate habits from projects. Colour coding could help and sorting them together. I find that my projects get lost in the mix of my habit based entries.

  5. Repeating Tasks

    Tasks that need to be done at a predictable interval with a repeating due date. These would only show up to be due when you are on (or near - defined by user) the due date.

    Once the task is completed or marked not done, a new one will be scheduled at the interval out.

    Examples:
    Pay rent on the first of the month
    Pay credit card by 17th of the month
    Take out trash bi-weekly on Friday’s
    Call brother on his birthday
    Set up haircut appointment every 2 months

  7. Have a way to un-archive a habit

    I know when you archive something in settings on the iPhone app you can hit unarchive right after you hit archive, but once you exit the sittings for that habit, it’s GONE forever.

    I have been messing around with the app for hours and have not found a way to view archived habits.

    Please make a menu where you can view/un-archive a habit.

    Here’s how to unarchive a habit:

    - Tap the Dashboard tab in the tab bar
    - Tap Dashboard with the down arrow, or the tag icon in the top right
    - Select Archived
    - Tap the tracker, then go to its edit view and tap Unarchive at the bottom

  8. Auto to sort habits from New to Old

    It would be nice if user can easily sort the habit from New to Old. It’s time consuming to always re order then put on top the newest goal.

    You can order your trackers however you like (e.g. New to Old, times of day, etc), then the Today view will automatically display them in that order, and move the completed ones down so the one at the top is always the next one to do.

  9. Delete Log Entries

    I just want to delete log entries. Sometimes I accidentally hit the wrong button and there doesn’t seem to be a way of deleting previous logs.

    Thanks for reaching out! There are a few ways to delete accidental logs:

    1. Tap the checkbox in the Done/Missed section.
    2. Swipe left across the tracker in Done/Missed and tap Undo.
    3. On the tracker’s History tab (second from the left on the charts view), tap the log icon to delete the log, or the (x) to delete a number for a Goal log.

  10. Percentage of daily completed tasks

    It shows you how many things you’ve done in a day but I’d like a percentage of what you’ve done. That way I can get a consistent idea of how well I am doing regardless of how many tasks of have. If I have 10 things I want to do in a day and do 7 of them it tells me I’ve done seven. But if I have twenty things and do 10 of them it might give me the impression I’m doing better when I’m not really.

  12. Dashboard Monthly Bar Color

    I have a couple of Trackers where I am trying to complete a goal once per month, yet even though I have completed them the bar fills up red.

    I am using Strides online with the Chrome browser.

  14. Blood Pressure

    Add a tracker similar to weight where a box pops up to enter the number. Right now I have to use a regular tracker and go into notes to enter the date and readings, I.e. 123/78. It would be easier to have a tracker to record daily readings. Thanks! Love Strides!

    Thanks for reaching out! You can enter a number with a Target tracker, though blood pressure having two readings isn’t possible to log with one tracker.

    Some people like to enter the one they’re more concerned with, and a note for the other number if needed. You could also have one tracker for each number.

    Thanks for reaching out! You can track how many hours you sleep with an Average tracker, or whether you went to bed on time (with notification reminders to hold you accountable) with a habit tracker.

    There are two ways to add a note with the progress you log:

    1. Tap the light gray note icon on the right side of the Today tab in the Done section.

    2. Tap the same icon on the tracker’s History table view (second tab above its charts).

  19. Remove upgrade prompts for paid users

    I have paid for lifetime access, yet still get all the prompts to upgrade.

    Please remove this for paid members as it's highly annoying and detracts from the user experience.

  20. Focus on progress

    Focus on progress, not days missed. Change so the default shows days completed (e.g. 15/30, 15 days completed over the last 30 days) below each habit. If I have a good habit that I have done 20 days out of 30, to me that’s great. I don’t want to focus on that I have missed 10 days. Even if I go in to settings and change it to day streak, it still shows days missed (e.g. missed 3 days) instead of completed 17/25 for instance). PLEASE change this. This is positive psychology 101...

    Strides always focuses on success and progress made, except in one case that should be rare (and is strongly discouraged): Negative streaks.

    If you haven’t done something for 3 days in a row, you should know that. We didn’t display this clearly before, and lots of people requested it.

    The best part? It’s extremely satisfying watching a negative streak like “Missed 3 days in a row” change to “Great start!” when you’re successful today. :)
