Rolling average for Days (not only for individual logs)
Allow to have a goal to be set for rolling average of days (not only logs)
Sometimes I have daily/weekly goal where I do several entries during the day, but I don't want to see the average of all values I entered.
Say I want to drink 2liters of water a day in average. Even time I drink I add the amount of water I drink (so I do more than 1 log per day with different amounts).
As the time passes the average is just very difficult to influence as it counts all says since the tracker started.
I cannot use the rolling average because it counts every individual log. I would like to use a rolling average of the last 30 days for example, so if i always see more realistic average.
This feature has been released! You can now choose Rolling Average of the last X logs, days, weeks, months or years. Thanks for your feedback!

Yay! This is a great idea. I would use it for sleep. I track “actual sleep” time. Sometimes a take a nap during the day. I would love to have the ability of seeing my 28-day rolling average as well as being able to go into my log history and see on which days I slept 10+ hours and on which days I took a significant nap.
Right now I’m doing a rolling average (28 logs) and simply combining my slept and nap time into one log. Then I make a note for that log that it was actually two entries. I still get my info but it would be awesome to scroll through the bar chart.
Fortunately, I’m finally learning how to code in “R” and am setting up some programs to provide useful info. I export a csv file from Strides and import to RStudio.

Ideally I’d like to have the rolling average go by days. No week or month cycle. This way the cadence is my own. So say I hit goal x which needed to be done once per 10 days, on Tuesday and then hit it again on Thursday then my target goal should be hit it again within 10 days of Tuesday.
If this app is open source I will fix it myself.

I’d like to see the same thing. I’d also like to see a rolling sum instead of a rolling average. So I can tell the total amount of time I spent on an activity over the last x number of days.
I’ve found a workaround for the rolling average in that if there are some days I don’t spend time on the activity I log a 0. Not ideal but it works for the moment.

This would be really great for tracking certain personal KPIs.

Options to group the rolling average by week/month/year would be really useful too!
