‘Projected’ moves finish date instead of end result
The projected number currently adjusts your end result based on how quick your pace is at the moment, but I don’t find this useful.
For example, if my goal is to read the Bible in a year, and I’m ahead of schedule, I would much rather know how much quicker I’m going to finish than that I’m going to read 1.24 Bibles by the end of the year.
So instead, there should at least be an option to have ‘projected’ present the projected finish date instead of the projected result.
Thanks.

For more info as to how this could be implemented, there’s a discontinued app called “persistence” that does this.

Yes please. I find I have more goals where the final value is fixed (e.g. healthy weight, healthy savings balance) more than the end date. If I am doing better than expected it would motivate to see the date come closer rather than the projected value get too big or small.

I'm glad to see this has already been suggested. Right now I'm projected to read 378 pages of my 238 page book by my goal date, so it would be nice to have the option to see when I'll complete my goal at the current pace.

YES!!! I have a weight loss progress tracker and I’m a little bit ahead, so my projected weight at the end of tracker on 1/1/19 is -682,28, which makes zero sense. I would much rather know when I’ll hit the goal at this pace than how much negative weight I would have in future.

As a procrastinator, I WOULD LOVE THIS!!! I currently have a target tracker where I want to finish the required reading for an upcoming class before the class starts. The projected number lets me know that I will do that and be a little ahead, but for similar tasks, it would be fantastic to hold myself accountable based on the projected timeline.
