    Thanks for the feedback Ashley!

So you would prefer to have a Rolling Habit tracker then?

e.g. The Dashboard bar would always show the last 7 or 30 days if Rolling was turned on for a Weekly or Monthly Habit tracker.

We’ve talked about doing this, and it makes total sense to me, so we’ll dive in to figure it out.

Note: Just in case you hadn’t seen it, your streak is not reset, just the current time period’s bar on the Dashboard.

Tapping the tracker you’ll still see a streak for how many Days/Weeks/Months in a row you’ve achieved your goal for the time period.

Thanks again, and best of luck with all your goals & habits!

I would LOVE the ability to set to a specific rolling time period for goals. Like a hybrid between rolling averages and goal tracking.

Examples: I want to practice guitar 5 times within every 7 day period. (But not have it reset at the start of each week or month.)

I have found ways to pseudo-achieve what I want. (Like setting an every 5 out of 7 day goal for 25 times in a month. Or doing “rolling averages” as a .5 within every seven logs.)

I also know you can technically see your progress in calendar view. But it can be discouraging to have that green bar reset at the “technical” start of a time period. I’ve also found myself waiting to start goals until the beginning of the week (and then sometimes not starting it then) because I know I won’t hit my “goal” by the end of the week/month and I don’t want to stare at a red bar when I am actually going to hit it within a 7 day or 30 day period.

Having that green bar is ridiculously helpful to someone like me with ADHD and, though I *KNOW* that I am “on target” there’s something that makes me feel like it’s not even worth it when it’s just going to end with red. This makes the beginning of each month extremely difficult too.

Others in ADHD groups that I’m in have expressed similar feelings when it comes to goal tracking. (Whoops! I’m not going to get it to green in this M-S period – so let’s just skip it the rest of the week... though if it were a rolling 7 day period, I absolutely would still have that green bar and more likely to only skip a day.)
