A few of my other apps have dark/night mode so that I can use them in the very early morning/late at night with out creating too much light.
I think that’d be helpful here, especially since I track some of my goals at 5 am and 10pm and can sometimes have trouble with the extra bright screen.
The tracking of habits is quite good but instead of the dashboard we should have an option to switch to analytics view that would display all habits in calendar mode or in a graph so we can get a general idea of how we are doing with all our habits without having to click on each one individually. Tracking is useless without the ability to easily get the picture of where we stand and what we need to improve and that’s not as smooth as it should be right now in my opinion. Also would be very helpful for those of us who are more visually inclined and those who want to do a review of all their habits once a day or once a week without having to spend a lot of time on the app. (There’s also something that’s really pleasing to the eyes by just watching numbers, a graph would be much better) PLEASE UPVOTE SO THE DEVELOPERS CAN SEE THIS (if you agree of course).

We have big plans for this in 2018. :)
I would like to share one or more of my goals with someone that will serve as my accountability partner. I should be able to choose one or more reports to automatically send them such as daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, every 6 months, or yearly. They should be able to send me encouraging messages such as hoorays or I know you can do it, etc. if would really cool if the app even facilitated them sending me a gift card of some kind if I complete all my goals in a given time period.157 votes
Big plans for this in 2018!
I will explain this one with an example. Say I want to quit smoking by gradually decreasing this bad habit. It would be cool to define it as a bad habit, then set the goal for week 1 at 15 cigs, for week 2 at 10 cigs, ... Without having to setup a separate goal entry for each week, the goal would automatically adapt in the same entry so that if you look at the calendar overview, you can track your progress for this habit in
just one entry.48 votes
I’d love to see all my habits together on one graph so I can see how one correlates to the other.59 votes
Big plans for this! :)
I’ve seen some forum posts on a planned feature for adding a complication, but those were a few years ago now.
Please add this feature! Almost every other habit tracker has this now, and it would really help Strides keep up. Such a great interface and application, would be further enhanced by adding a complication to watchOS.39 votes
The projected number currently adjusts your end result based on how quick your pace is at the moment, but I don’t find this useful.
For example, if my goal is to read the Bible in a year, and I’m ahead of schedule, I would much rather know how much quicker I’m going to finish than that I’m going to read 1.24 Bibles by the end of the year.
So instead, there should at least be an option to have ‘projected’ present the projected finish date instead of the projected result.
I want to be able to track a habit every second day for example and not on fixed days (like Momday Tuesday etc.)79 votes
Some habits that can be synced with the iPhone health app like sleeping on time or number of steps in the day or meditation minutes50 votes
I'd like to see the screen where I can update previous day's logs, first.
Would be awesome to be able to choose what screen I see first, in the preferences.5 votes
We’re going to switch the default tab to Daily Goals so you can see today and yesterday much more quickly.
It would be great to customize the colors of the fonts & backgrounds, etc.6 votes
What happens when you finish a goal? If you archive it it just keeps collecting no activity, failed days.
If you made a place to keep our achievements, members will be more likely to stick with the app for longer, to collect more achievements. See how the Apple Watch and activity iOS app does this7 votes
I like to add notes to many of my trackers. It would be great if I could default to requesting or even requiring notes be added to the input panel that pops up.
I know that it is possible to hit the note icon, type something, go back, and then record. It is a lot of tapping on small target areas to make this happen. It would be great to see the notes blank automatically if it is a tracker that is configured to request/require notes.5 votes

This is a great app with a lot of different trackers, all in one app.
But it should do something with that data. Provide a trending reports of what habits are getting done and where I am falling behind on a weekly or monthly basis (ideally).104 votes
In “Today” View, when hitting a goal, it moves to complete... but we want to keep counting. Please add “surpass goal” in the setting so we can keep counting the habit (good or bad) or number while in the widget
smile to others

I have a few tasks where I need to track time. For example playing the piano. I I have a goal of 2 hours a week, and at the moment all I can do it count by minutes then do math to figure out 120 means 2 hours. This get more unweildy when I have a goal of 15-20 for something. It would be nice to be able to set a goal as a unit of Time, then add as units of time.138 votes
