Better habit/average options
Please add specific habit options.
Instead of only allowing "day, week, month, etc..." please allow a number of days, weeks, or months.
Same goes for averages. Please allow us to set specific lengths.
I specifically want to be able to have a habit tracked, to do it 1 or less times every 10 days. I cannot do this easily now.
Thanks for the feedback! This is possible with the Average tracker using the Rolling Average option:
Choose a number of Logs, and it will use that for the Average calculation.
For example, I track my Sleep with a Goal of 7.5 or More, with a Rolling Average of 7, so it only considers the last 7 logs.
I log every morning, and with Rolling I can always tell how I’ve been sleeping over the past week. If it’s red, I know I need to go to bed early. :)
As for Habits, we’ve run the numbers and there’s a very small minority of people using the Monthly option, which would have even more applications/uses than a specific number of days, so we’ve decided not to put the development effort into this feature (since it’s still doable with the Rolling Average option, and because it’d be a huge change to the formulas and charts).
