Tiny habits - Minimum and ideal amounts
It would be great to be able to input two numbers for goals that track a certain amount for the day - a minimum number and an ideal number.
For example, my goal is to read every day. Ideally, I'd like to read at least 10 pages. However, I consider it a success (tiny habit) if I only read one page per day. It would be nice if the graph could show both number and track where I am along this spectrum.
This could also work for other types of habits. For example, if someone has a goal to do 100 pushups a day, but their minimum acceptable amount is 1 pushup, they could enter both numbers as goals.
I like the idea of minimally acceptable goals as it goes along with BJ Fogg's idea of Tiny Habits - it is such a small amount to do that it is difficult NOT to do it. By doing it every day, you keep the chain going.
Thanks for the feedback! I love the Tiny Habits concept, and it’s definitely easy to track with Strides, but adding a second Goal on top of that complicates the charts and setup process to much to be worthwhile.
That said, we are hoping to add the ability to gradually increase your Goal without losing green bars in the past.
