I should be able to specify a number of times per day or amount of time per day I want to do a habit separate from no of times per wk/mo
This is a feature in a number of other apps (like Habit Tracker). You can set a number of times you want to accomplish something per day (like at least 5 times drinking water per day or at least 30 minutes of exercise per day), and independently specify how many times per week (or month) you want to complete that habit (e.g. 4 days a week).
Strides is so close to being the best, but this feature is key in my mind. I don't want to have to work out every single day, I also don't want to set a 30 * 4 = 120 minute goal for the week so that a 45 minute workout today means I workout less another day.
This is also particularly important for tasks linked to health. If i achieve 30 minutes of activity with Health, that will then auto complete the habit for the day, but I don't want the extra (or under) time to then apply to the rest of the week (or have to go back and manually edit the time for the habit).
So far I cannot see any way to accomplish working out at least 30 minutes per day (and tracking the time per day) 4 days per week without specifying exactly the days to workout (which I also don't want).
(I also added this as a comment to a closed several year old item so creating a new one as that seems more appropriate)
Thanks for the feedback!

Basically this is separating what is considered the *requirement* to accomplish a habit in a day (e.g. number of pages read, number of minutes exercised, number of glasses of water drank) from the number of days in a time period (week, month) the habit should be completed to be accomplished for that time period. Right now the two concepts are overloaded, and as I mentioned especially for things like pages read or integrations to apple health minutes this is suboptimal as a giant (e.g. two hour) workout today means I don't have to workout the rest of the week (which is not my objective).
