Recurring Tracker Cycles with Cumulative History
I've been a happy Strides user and wanted to share one feature request that I think would make a meaningful difference for users like me.
In short: I'd love the ability to set a tracker to repeat on a custom cycle (e.g., every 10 days), where each completed cycle is saved and summarized — rather than overwritten when the next cycle begins.
Here's my current situation: I structure my month into three 10-day sprints and track progress within each one. Right now, when I manually push the deadline forward to start a new cycle, the previous data disappears. I've been working around this by archiving and rebuilding trackers each time — it works, but it's tedious.
What I'm hoping for is something like this:
- A tracker runs for a set period (e.g., 10 days)
- When the cycle ends, the results are saved as a completed record
- A fresh cycle starts automatically, cleanly
- Over time, I can look back and see a summary of all past cycles in one place
Thanks for considering this — and for building such a solid app. I hope this feedback is helpful!
Thanks for reaching out! I'm curious to hear more about this idea. What tracker types are you using in this case? Target/Project, or repeating goals too?

Hi, Thanks for following up.
I use Project, Target, and Habit trackers depending on the task. The Habit tracker is actually the only one that repeats natively, which is great — but its metrics are too simple for what I need. It can't quantify things like the number of lessons completed or minutes spent reading, where daily output varies and the total count is large. For those cases, Target is a much better fit since it lets me log actual numbers and track progress toward a goal. So ideally, I'd love to see a repeat option added to the Target tracker — where each completed cycle is preserved as its own historical record and presented as a data view, rather than being overwritten when the next cycle begins.
That one addition would make Target the perfect tool for this kind of structured, repeating goal tracking.Hope that helps clarify
