So you would prefer to have a Rolling Habit tracker then?
e.g. The Dashboard bar would always show the last 7 or 30 days if Rolling was turned on for a Weekly or Monthly Habit tracker.
We’ve talked about doing this, and it makes total sense to me, so we’ll dive in to figure it out.
Note: Just in case you hadn’t seen it, your streak is not reset, just the current time period’s bar on the Dashboard.
Tapping the tracker you’ll still see a streak for how many Days/Weeks/Months in a row you’ve achieved your goal for the time period.

Status update: We’re wrapping up a few improvements to the app that lay a solid foundation for the Progress Reports feature.
The only step left after v7.7.1 for iOS is to add support for reports to the API, so while we do that we’ll rebuild the Apple Watch app, then focus 100% on the big v8.0 release of Progress Reports!

Make kpis an optional step for folks who want a single app versus using another as well.
Accountability is coming in 2017!

I just had a similar issue that I tried to work around with setting a second habit. This fix would be better.
