Log time in hr/min
I have a few tasks where I need to track time. For example playing the piano. I I have a goal of 2 hours a week, and at the moment all I can do it count by minutes then do math to figure out 120 means 2 hours. This get more unweildy when I have a goal of 15-20 for something. It would be nice to be able to set a goal as a unit of Time, then add as units of time.
Planning to release this feature after Accountability (sharing goals and habits with other people). Working on designs for time tracking in the meantime. Thanks for your patience. Have a great day!

A time tracker will definitely make the difference for me between using this app, or not. I used to track times with Eternity and used another app to track the actual habits ... but that quickly became too annoying.
Basically, what I want is: Tap habit to enter this habit, tap start button to start tracking. Have a stop button to complete the session and track it as “done”.
Nice to have: Also add a pause button to track interruptions, and a simple countdown timer that lets me set up a time with a bell - but still wait until I tap “Stop” (I use this for meditation tracking and may continue after the base time is up).

This will be so helpful for stretching goals! Thanks for doing this.

This would be fantastic! I currently use BeFocused Pro to track time intervals for studying to see trends over time, and then manually input the number of sessions completed in strides- but if I could simply track the time within Strides as well that would be extremely helpful.

This was literally the main reason why I got this app. I was sad it didn’t have it in the first place, but I’ve adapted and still love the app, but I’d still like this feature!!

The lack of this feature may be the dealbreaker for me

hope i understand this request accurately ... i would look be to set a goal of 30 minutes of reading each day and then be able to start stop a timer for each event. the sum of the time defines goal closure.

A stopwatch might be helpful as well.

We need a timer for tasks or habits. Awesome!

Agreed. Would love a duration of a habit or goal. Currently I add into my description (e.g. read for one hour, run for 30 minutes)

Then are you planning to realize it? Thank you

It could be very useful. And move this software to the next level. I hope that developers could realize it. Thank you!

I have 5 new task to start and want to spend 10 hours on each to decide which is better to focus on by doing 20 minutes each task every day. Please add start value and end value of a goal to be in hours and minutes.

Yes, right now I have to close the app to open another app to use an alerted timer for my meditation. Would definitely help me with exercise, cleaning and reading also.

So I can track my progress in running.

On a slightly unrelated note, something like FocusNow's plant farm to avoid distraction while working on the task with said timer would be a really cute idea--maybe make it optional to choose different kinds of rewards, like kittens, or stars, something you plan to buy, etc.

So happy to this is planned
Most of my goals are time based
As leaving the house on time determines weather or not I can get to the gym at the end of my day before going homeLike the other comment I use a separate app to convert time to a number .. like 9:50 .. = 9.83
But then as I'm reviewing my progress you have to then think about your actual average time result .. what time is 9.37 (well it's 9:22)
Thanks
