Milestones
For a bigger/longer goal, breaking it down to milestones help to focus on the now and next milestone. Running 10K is easier to achieve with milestones of 2.5K, 5K, 7.5K. A bigger weight loss is easier to achieve with 2.5 kg check-ins or create healthy habits that support the bigger goal i.e. walk 10K steps per day, sleep 8h, eat healthy 5/7 days, exercise 3x a week.
