Rewards: Custom Congrats Popup message
It is more dynamic, we could put the motivation for each goal than seeing the same popup. Hope this will work :)

It's nuts how motivated I am by rewards programs that tell me I've just reached silver status, gold status, etc. Achieving the title is as fun as the actual benefit. I'd love to see some kind of award title or sticker that can be earned by reaching my own goals.

Personally, I really hate this idea, bought the app specifically because it omits it.
If it added, please make it optional :)

Nope. Keep the gameification out of it. Pleanty other apps already have it.

Great idea! Would definitely help with motivation.

This would be great! When I have a streak broken on a goal it's disheartening. Seeing a level I've reached would remind me of how far I've come and give a boost of confidence and hope.
It's also a fun motivation. There could be digital rewards. Trophies, or have even more fun. Collect rewards like flower bouquets, or single flowers to make bouquets (I'm sure your awesome imaginations can think of more themes!), meme or motivational stickers...how fun this could be!!! Please yes!!! -

If you and Habitica could have an app baby it would be perfect!

The achievements would be similar to how tasks are created now but with multiple goals and badges. For example, when setting up the goals, the user could specify the amount to reach goal and the badge name and icon awarded when reached.
Another related idea is to have predefined goals and badges. Example of a 60 day project:
1 day & Started Badge
5 days & Baby Steps Badge
15 & Walking Tall Badge
30 & Running Badge
60 days & Unstoppable BadgeI'm using this approach currently for learning guitar and its working out well but I have to manually enter & track & reward myself.

Todoist has a karma mode that basically give you a video game time of level up. I think strides would benefit from this gamification that can truly motivate people to succeed.
Example:
- 1st habit maintained for 21 days = level 1
- 1st habit maintained for 30 days = level 2
- 2 habits maintains for 21 days = level 3
- then long term habits 90% compliance on a year level 99 etc.Besides being good for existing users it has a good retention for new customer as you want to make progress. Can be good to wider the audience and ensure the survival of this awesome app.

Nice idea to be able to share a reached goal.

It feels juvenile to need a virtual pat on the back, but I DO! I realized that part of the reason I waste time on iPad games is that I like the simple sense of achievement, and part of my goal in searching for and using this app is to try to recreate that experience in a more productive way. It would be amazing to create custom "achievements" that unlock personalized rewards.

NOT COMPLETED!
The notes section under the name field does not suffice! How can I be motivated by the reward if I don't see it? I am supposed to edit the reward every time? Please fix. -

This is a good idea. Not for the 'sharing' element but just another good way of tracking progress and making it more interactive
Off the top of my head the Audible app does a good job on all fronts -

I would love that! I create badges myself when I achieve something and put them in my diary on Evernote but most times I just forget that I've already achieved something. Plus it would keep my highly motivated to stick to my goals.

Great idea! Its always fun to reach your goals and have a little extra to "win" for your achievements. I will be proud to look at my "wall" of badges!

Great source of unsolicited online testimonials would be a great promotion tool as your user base are promoting their successes achieved through your tool. What a win win is that!

Don't care if it's badges, but strides doesn't seem to track Long term success, just current trends.
So if this provides a place where you could see improvement metrics over time, or goals met, it would be nice.
It is very motivating to look back on where you were and realize how far you have come.

Just my 2c, but I don't much care about badges. Is there really a need to be able to graphically brag to your friends about how many glasses of water you drank this month? I know there's value in 'gamification' aspects but this is what the dashboard and graphics already do. If badges do get included, please ensure users can turn the feature off, as some apps go way over the top and use badges mainly as an excuse to send emails and to create marketing messages for non-users, rather than providing any real value.
Sorry if that sounds grumpy but I've abandoned apps before for getting this balance wrong.

I would love this feature. I just got this app and two others that are similar to see which I like most. None have badges... supposing this app has them I would be more inclined to keep this one over the others.
