    Suggestion for a workaround: substitute the specific behaviour for something equivalent and thus keep the habit itself going in terms of “casting votes for the kind of person you want to become” (James Clear)

    Status update: We’re wrapping up a few improvements to the app that lay a solid foundation for the Progress Reports feature.

    The only step left after v7.7.1 for iOS is to add support for reports to the API, so while we do that we’ll rebuild the Apple Watch app, then focus 100% on the big v8.0 release of Progress Reports!

    Thanks for your patience. It’ll be worth the wait. :)

    You might want to put "resist perfectionism" on your habit list ;-) I would recommend to either commit or not, but never allow for this kind of rationalisation. I have been there, too – it just does not work, not at all. If you fail too often you are either overcommitted and trying to build too many habits at once or you lack commitment. In the first case postpone building the failing habit then and in the second case lower your goal until you are able to achieve it no matter what. Always strive for 100% and make all your habits a priority (or forget about them until you are ready). You should thus be able to build much better habits.

    +1 for HealthKit integration, this would solve so many jobs at once: step countingand other fitness data, sleep tracking, mindfulness tracking etc.

    This would be a nice simple workaround for the missing possibility of continuous improvement for habit targets (e. g. steadily increasing daily pushups). Please!

    Please DON'T. There are excellent task management apps out there (OmniFocus etc), that do this very well. Strides should stay simple so one can focus on the essentials that really make a difference.
