Log time in hr/min
I have a few tasks where I need to track time. For example playing the piano. I I have a goal of 2 hours a week, and at the moment all I can do it count by minutes then do math to figure out 120 means 2 hours. This get more unweildy when I have a goal of 15-20 for something. It would be nice to be able to set a goal as a unit of Time, then add as units of time.
Planning to release this feature after Accountability (sharing goals and habits with other people). Working on designs for time tracking in the meantime. Thanks for your patience. Have a great day!

The app is great, but if you could add a tracker for courses that includes hours, and we can also see the sum of all course hours, that would be fantastic!

**Your app is truly one of the best in its category—intuitive, well-designed, and packed with useful features. However, there’s one key functionality missing that would make it even more powerful: built-in timers for time tracking.**
Many tasks—whether work, fitness, or daily routines—are best managed by measuring time intervals. Right now, I have to rely on separate timer apps, which disrupts my workflow. Having this feature natively integrated would streamline everything, especially if it syncs seamlessly between iPhone and Apple Watch. Since my phone isn’t always within reach (e.g., during workouts, cooking, or quick errands), being able to start, stop, and monitor timers directly from my Watch would be a game-changer.
A well-implemented timer system (with optional presets, progress tracking, and notifications) would make your app even more versatile. Plenty of users would appreciate this addition—maybe even as a Pro feature! Hope to see it in a future update. Keep up the great work! 🚀

This would be a very useful addition to the "Target: Number by Date" option. For example, I'd like to track a goal of 1500 hours of listening to German but be able to enter this in blocks of minutes (for example, 23 minutes on one day) or hours and minutes (for example, 2 hours and 7 minutes on one day), with the total displaying in hours and minutes (for example, 593 hours and 20 minutes). It's fine with me if the total is rounded to the nearest hour.
(At the moment, the only way to achieve this is to set a goal of 90,000 minutes and add time in minutes.)

Would love to be able to track a certain amount of minutes a week. For example, 45 minutes of cardio weekly or 2 hours of reading per week. Also 15 minutes of tidying per day. Etc.

I use Strides to make sure I finish books on time for the next book club meeting. Target tracker works great for page numbers, but for audio books, converting 1:40/15:10 into decimal is not ideal. Please consider customizable units.

This is a huge feature that’s missing. Streaks app has that and this is the only thing this app is missing.

When my goal is concerned with duration, I want to record it into this app, adding the timer options like time timer would be a best option for this app.

Sometimes we forget to check a habit (or we can’t) but we want to keep in the history the exact time the task was performed.
In addition to this, if we can edit the “end time” or duration, this app can become a better logger and I can avoid using Toggl in parallel.
Of course a time tracker would be the perfect addition to the manual entry. -

+1 to time tracking
I use it to track how long I take to get ready in the morning. It would be good if strides had a stopwatch built in with start/stop buttons to determine the duration (or start time/end time fields and it calculates the duration)

Currently using Tomato Timer App then marking in Strides if I complete three 20 min segments of study time. Strides is an excellent app by the way.

I think, timers are absolutely essential for this type of apps!
Ideally, we should be able to switch from "count down"/"count up" modes.
Example: I want to meditate for 15 min/day. I can:
a) use count down timer with set 15 mins, which gives me some kind of 'beep' at the end;
b) use count up timer that will just track time and stop manually; in this case logged time will show, for example, 150% of the daily goal. If less, I can continue later, until achieve a goal.More advance usage. I want to master a language, and my goal is 100 hours. I can use count up timer every time when I do some exercises, which will add to a bigger goal. The same could be useful for long-term sports goals, and basically for any study or training process/habit.
Not to mention, that adjustable count down timers will allow to forget about Promodoro-like apps.

The timer idea sounds nice, but I would definitely want to be able to log time WITHOUT the timer as well. I have other timers that I use, and I prefer to put my phone away when I’m working to prevent distractions.

I want to track a habit as done / not done in the standard way, but also be able to enter the amount of time I spent on that habit. So at the end of a week, I could see (for example) that I meditated five times for a total of two hours.

In addition to time, I may want to track other values throughout the day. For example, one of my goals is to eat a certain number of grams of protein per day. It would be nice to be able to log the value after each meal and then have Strides sum up the total amount for the day

Need ability to see date time stamp for when task completed.
Secondary to that- if there is a start button and end button, two datetime stamps should be provided along with a computation that shows task time spent (duration),

I would like to be able to track my fasting start and end. The app could then track the hours of fasting on a table/chart.

I’d really like a timer function. I mainly use your app to record how much time I spent on activities. For example: I try to get myself to read for 300 minutes a week and not play more than 60 minutes of videogames a day. Would be great to be able to just set a timer when i started reading and once I stop it, it adds up to my total reading time. Now I manually have to set timer and calculate.
