Thanks for reaching out! This is not a bug because most Average Per Day goals are only logged once (e.g Sleep) but I totally understand where you’re coming from. So, I’m thinking through a new field called Move to Done that could have a When Goal is Met option for these scenarios. We have to get through a few more updates before we could add this, but I’m planning to add it when we’re able.

In the meantime, if you log less than your goal for the day you can always swipe right or tap the log icon while it’s in the Done section and tap Add New Log. The app will automatically add all the day’s logs up for you.

Hope that helps. Best of luck with all your goals & habits!
    Kyle

Yes please! It’s misleading to have the tracker show a green check and get moved to the “done” section if you’ve only logged, say, 1.5 hours of a 3-hour goal. For goals like this, it’d be really helpful to be able to have the tracker display the same way that Yes or No trackers do, with an X/Y to the right until you hit your goal.

    Thanks for the feedback Ashley!

So you would prefer to have a Rolling Habit tracker then?

e.g. The Dashboard bar would always show the last 7 or 30 days if Rolling was turned on for a Weekly or Monthly Habit tracker.

We’ve talked about doing this, and it makes total sense to me, so we’ll dive in to figure it out.

Note: Just in case you hadn’t seen it, your streak is not reset, just the current time period’s bar on the Dashboard.

Tapping the tracker you’ll still see a streak for how many Days/Weeks/Months in a row you’ve achieved your goal for the time period.

Thanks again, and best of luck with all your goals & habits!

The timer idea sounds nice, but I would definitely want to be able to log time WITHOUT the timer as well. I have other timers that I use, and I prefer to put my phone away when I’m working to prevent distractions.

Yes please to this! And it would be wonderful to be able to tick off habits from this weekly view as well, great for catching up on tracking if you missed a couple days, or scanning back through the week to see if you missed anything.

I’m not sure exactly what format everyone else is picturing, but I envision a grid with Habits on one axis and days on the other. Very information-dense and useful!
