Review misssed notifications
It’s very disturbing knowing that I have some missed alarms (I see a figure in the red circle at the top right corner of the app icon), but I cannot see what are they once the day have passed! E.g. if I have 6 alarms per day for some habit and I’ve missed 2 of them yesterday, then today I see red circle with number 2, but I see no alarms within the habit, because today’s alarms were not missed. It would be nice to have a Notifications button, where you can see all not addressed notifications.
1 voteYou can see all remaining Due trackers on the Today tab.

Web FAQs aren't working on website. Should fix.
When I click on the FAQ support items nothing happens other than the cursor turning into a hand. I tried it in Chrome, Explorer, and Edge. Not sure if it's me only. If not, you are losing lots of people who just move on. How to contact you is under the FAQ which doesn't open. This is the only way I could see to let you know.

Hide when goal is met
Can you all have a feature where you can auto-hide the tracker (habit or goal) that have been accomplished/complete for the day/week? Or swipe and “hide for today” This would help auto de-clutter the dashboard of accomplished for the day
Also apply this into the tags when filtering trackers.
For example:
Tag: Morning
Brush teeth
Floss
Had 8 hours sleep
Take morning medsAnything marked as accomplished/complete = autohide
The hide is also suppose to help the user move forward. What’s the point of seeing what’s completed when you already completed them? This helps user focus on what is not…
1 voteYou can do this with the Today Filter, and the new Daily Goals view we’re releasing soon does something similar. I think you’ll like it. :)

Fix time change issue
With the time change to Daylight Savings, all my alerts now come an hour early, even though the alert time in the app hasn’t changed. I.e - my 8:05am alert now comes at 7:05, even though the alert setting in the app still says 8:05.... The app and my iOS are both up to date.

Print Option
Ability to export to PDF / print out an overview of your progress. This way we could have a personal map, where you can collect all your steps week by week and have it visualized. It would increase motivation to keep going, especially in the long-term. It would be great to look back at, after a year or so.
1 voteYou can use AirPrint through the share sheet for your tracker chart views, or print from the Web app.

Web FAQs aren't working on Chrome
Web FAQs aren't working on Chrome
1 voteSorry about that. I just tested it in Chrome on a couple machines and it’s working, so if it’s still not for you it’s likely cached from when we updated our website. If that doesn’t help, here’s the direct link: https://www.stridesapp.com/support.html. Have a great day!

Order goals in completion order
Order goals in time order. So have daily goals together, weekly goals together and monthly goals together ect...
1 voteThis can be done with the Reorder Trackers feature, and we’re adding Due, Done & Missed sections on the new Daily Goals view soon.

Rewards For Streaks
It would be cool to tie rewards to streaks. Like, "After five days of drinking water, have some Dr. Pepper." I know this has been brought up several times already, but I figured I'd try to phrase it a little differently.

New Daily Goals vie was default
Make it possible for the new Daily Goals view to be the default upon app launch; I love the new view and its functionality but wish I didn’t have to click over to it.

Expansion of the Log Notes Feature
So, the notes have become an invaluable feature of this app! In Better Than Before, Gretchen Ruben emphasizes the importance of making the reward a part of the habit itself. When I started forming an exercise habit with Strides, I also committed to journaling about each daily exercise, in order to find the reward. I haven't missed a day in two weeks, and the rewards are mounting. Meanwhile, as I try to cut down on my screen time, the dread of logging why I used one of my five daily allowances is enough to stop me. In the Conquering Habits…
1 voteThanks JJ. Glad you’re enjoying it, and great job on your habits!
You can enter as many lines as you’d like in the Log Notes box, and when you export data (one tracker, or all from Settings), all of the Log Notes are included.
Best of luck with all your goals & habits!

Make log in history a multi-line text box
I journal 3 things that I like that I did in a day and 1-3 thing I didn’t like so that I can reflect and see patterns. I’d like to do that in the history section for each day as a log, but because it’s single line text, it doesn’t work very well, so I’m currently using the goal notes and just adding a new day’s journal to the top.
1 voteYou can type was many lines as you’d like in the Log Notes box.

Dashboard vs Today (hide items)
Hello!
So I realize that when having goals or progress, it can be location based.
For example: max push-ups (1min), max pull-ups, max sprint, boxing progress but this only takes place at the gym
or
Study or Review. Location: School or cafe
However, I don’t go to the gym every single day due to XYZ. I also don’t study or review every single day because I have days where I work a full hour shift.
Can we hide items like these on the Today tab? They won’t be accomplished everyday, but what I prefer to do is go back to…
1 voteThe Today tab only shows what’s due today, based on the When to Log setting, where you can choose certain days of the week.

Silence Alert Sound
With my phone on mute the alert sounds still rings. Could you guys add a “silence” alert sound to turn off the sound from the alerts?
1 voteThat shouldn’t be happening for you. Sorry about that! I marked this as completed since we’ve written the code to work with the standard iOS notifications system, but if the workarounds below don’t fix it feel free to reach out through the Feedback view in the app and I’ll help you fix it.
Workarounds:
1. Reboot your iPhone.
2. In Settings > Notifications > Strides, turn off Sounds.Let me know if you need anything else!

Progress unit of measure to be same as tracking unit
Currently I have a save money goal that I’ve set to track monthly. My progress bar is still showing a daily unit of measure. So even though I’m on track, my progress bar says I’m behind. It also displays a Daily Goal underneath instead of a monthly goal. Since I want to track this monthly, it would be cool for those two aspects to change to monthly as well.
I really like this app! Thanks for making it!!
1 voteHi, can you please reach out through the support page or Feedback view in the app? We’ve coded it to handle the monthly goal, but I’m curious to hear more about how you have it set up so I can make sure it’s working properly, Thanks!

Percentage as a goal metric
Allow you to measure quality of performance in a task by assigning a percentage. Then overtime you see improvements in performance quality, and make connections with what improved or hindered performance.
1 voteThis can be done with an average tracker, using whole numbers for the percentage (e.g. 75 for 75%).
-
Negative tasks (things to NOT) do
Create negative tasks - things to not do.
Example: no junk food during the week.
Item is considered competed each day, and users marks as incomplete if the activity does happen.
Good for streaks likes not smoking, no alcohol during the week, etc
1 voteThis is a perfect use for the Bad Habit option. If you have any questions about setting it up, feel free to reach out through the FAQ or Feedback view in the app. Best of luck with all your goals & habits!

Be able to change order of the lists
If want to move first goal down and another up would be nice
1 voteTo reorder your list, tap and hold any tracker, then tap the Reorder Trackers button and drag & drop to move them however you want. Or, you can access the reorder view from Settings. Have a great day!

Hi Pat, you can get rid of the red notification badge, and red bell icon on the Dashboard, by swiping left to log No (e.g. I didn’t do this habit).
Best of luck with all your goals & habits!

Tracking Task multiple times daily
Have the ability to track the same task multiple times per day without having to create another separate task or having it go to “done” when only tracking it done one time. Example: Task- 5 sets of Push-ups or more per day and have the ability to mark 1 and it shows that the task is only 1/5 complete in the main view and keeping it as incomplete instead of marking it as “done”
1 voteHi David,
Thanks for reaching out! If you create a custom Habit tracker and a Goal of X times per Day, it will work exactly as you described. :)
Best of luck with all your goals & habits!
