Rewards: Custom Congrats Popup message
It is more dynamic, we could put the motivation for each goal than seeing the same popup. Hope this will work :)

It would be nice if we had a rewards system where we can write out our own treats for completing a task or multiple tasks in a row. I can’t really find this kind of thing anywhere else that isnt a cheesy coin or badge reward, which I can’t do anything with and ultimately doesn’t really push me to complete taks.

I like the idea of rewards for completing certain tasks as it motivates me to complete them. Sometimes however, I don’t want the reward immediately. An example is a pcs of dark chocolate after completing a fitness routine, however I normally don’t feel like wanting it right after I’ve done the routine, but just a little later.
Thus it would be nice with an overview of possible rewards for the day and how to obtain them, which ones are already unlocked (by completing the task unlocking the reward) and which rewards have already been “cashed in” -

Allow a weighted scoring to roll up each day - eg allocate 100 points across all trackers and based on that days performance, assign a percentage out of hundred as a “quality score” for the day.

The ability to attach a personal reward to a success streak
Such as after 10 workout days you get to eat ice cream.
After enough pages written in your book you get to watch a new Netflix movie
Streaks/Habits need to be reinforced by personal rewards OR personal punishments for them to be consistently followed through on.

I’m very much a reward based person and if the app let me set a reward for certain milestones that’d be great! For example, if I’m tracking my weight, for every five pounds lost, I can set different rewards, like a new outfit or dinner out.

You should be able to set your own goals/rewards—eg, “congratulations—you have earned your new bike!” Or “time for a dinner out with Bill!” Or whatever.

This sounds cute. I’d love a reminder of habits I’ve broken successfully in case I start falling back toward old patterns.

What happens when you finish a goal? If you archive it it just keeps collecting no activity, failed days.
If you made a place to keep our achievements, members will be more likely to stick with the app for longer, to collect more achievements. See how the Apple Watch and activity iOS app does this

I agree. I love the badges and trophies that I get with my fit bit. I also like being able to have challenges for a timed period. I also like that you can control what info you share and what is kept private.

Rewards is exactly what I've been looking for. In my example, if I lose 20 lbs then I'm buying myself a pair of boots :) so I'd like to see something where it will show a tracking bar with my reward at the end. Oooh a widget per reward would be amazing! Then the reward bar could be placed on the home screen, I would be reminded how close, or far away :/, I am from getting my boots.

But it is a good idea!

Absolutely make it an option!

A space to see my reward I am giving my self under my habit that way I can get motivated looking at the reward I plan to give me when I complete the habit

Make it optional (or part of the paid plan). It's definitely something I would delete the app over. Games are easy enough to come by, good goal apps are not.

Gamification is definitely helpful for productivity.
The little dopamine shot one gets from receiving some reward be it a trophy or moving up a level (Todoist's Karma Levels come to mind) is highly motivating. Basically, anything that one can strive toward and can see on page as proof of their commitment to keeping up their streaks and cultivating good habits is beneficial and reinforces the continuation of the habits and usage of the app. The drive this creates to stick with the platform benefits not only the user but the app developers as well. Rewards also provide a wonderful place to incorporate social media sharing as we all love to share our accomplishments. Another benefit for both user and devs.I understand some people wanting rewards such as gift cards, but I don't think they realize the cost they are asking of Stride for such an implementation. Such a system would inevitably have to lead to higher prices for paid app features. This type of reward system is rarely, if ever, sustainable. I can't think of any applications who have tried such an implementation and have survived. In the early days of the mobile app, I saw some attempts but not a one is still available. "Paid" systems like that tend to be in apps that are spammy and ran by less than ethical app devs. I think this association is ingrained in enough in a lot of us that seeing mention of rewards with monetary value in an app's description is enough for us to dismiss it and move on. I would hate to see Stride lose business.
What I can see offering in terms of having monetary value is x-amount time for free use of pro membership features for reaching certain levels or amount of points, etc. While it might not immediately benefit the app developers, in time it will. Again, I reference Todoist. For the first few levels (I can't remember how many exactly) of Karma I reached, for each level I received an email with a promo codes for myself and an additional one for a friend for several months of free pro membership. I had no idea I would be rewarded because Todoist didn't mention it to lure users. I shared my friend promos to whomever was first to reply and to mention, by thanking, Todoist. By simply leveling up a few times, I ended up getting a whole year for free and I will definitely be paying to keep the features of the pro account when my free year is up. I don't think the benefits of building this type of loyal user base needs to be elaborated on much past what I've sketched out here.
This is in no way an endorsement for Todoist. I have nothing to gain by mentioning them. They just happen to be a good case study for a reward system.

Customisable rewards wood be doubly awesome if you can add a photo - a visual reminder goes a huge way for me. Similar to shopping list apps where you can add a photo of the item on list.
(eg new workout outfit after completing 30 day bootcamp streak, or when hitting a weight milestone, or a reward to go to lunch with a friend after a one week daily study streak is finished - and add a pic of that friend, or menu snap of favourite cafe etc)
Additionally it'd be great to be able to share the goal / reward - then for example someone else could promise to buy you the reward / do the reward together when (bug outfit / go shopping for outfit) when you reach the goal.
And going a step further there could be a "disincentive / punishment" reward you set yourself (eg donate the money set aside for the new workout outfit to a charity instead) if you don't reach your streak / target.
