Share with Accountability Partners
Share the progress you're making on a goal/habit with one or more accountability partners.

Now that there have been some major improvements to iCloud that make sharing data with other users simpler, the plan is to implement them after Apple Health integration is launched so we can start building the Accountability feature.

I personally would love it to be very simple, similar to "group habits" in the Habit Tracker app.
Not something annoying, just something that motivates each other in the group based on results others are getting because of consistency.
Maybe even the ability to add a small public note, so everyone in the group can be inspired by the results of not breaking a streak.
But everything needs to be streamlined so other group participants can have a sense at a quick glance over the group screen.
Thank you,

Same question as everyone else. When can we expect this?
Thanks,

Very happy to hear this is coming. This really makes a difference for certain habits. Most of the recent habit apps I see featured focus on that social aspect but lack many important features.

Very excited to see this is on the roadmap! Any word on when we might be able to expect this?

I love the Strides app and I’m setting my kids up to use it as well but I noticed that there’s no way to share your progress for accountability purposes. We are doing some family challenges together, and it would be great to be able to share our individual progress with the group as we complete each activity that we are tracking. For example, we are tracking weekly exercise, daily reading, water, intake, carbohydrate and protein intake, etc.
Ideally, as one of us completes a daily or weekly goal or even just makes progress towards our goals, the app would send a text message to each of the group members letting them know that “Luke completed his exercise goal of five times per week… How are you doing towards the progress of your goals?“

I’m a coach of 100 Individuals. I would use this feature and require the download of this app as part of our process if there was a way to share data and keep my clients accountable.
How soon will this feature be complete? Looks like it’s been in the works for a long time.

This feature is going to be a game changer for me. Plus…. What a great way to grow the network.

Any update on when this feature becomes active?

As a teacher, I could have access to see all my students' work. I could have multiple classes linked to my account. With live tracking of heart rate and steps that could be projected on a wall during a class to help motivate students and for them to see instant feedback.

This tracker has some of the key components that many and potentially all persons are looking for. I particularly like the fact that it has an easy-to-understand, color-coordinated taskbar to track each one the goals you set. It works well as an individual tracker. However, for business, it'd be perfect if it'd allow you to share some of your goals with your team so that you could track your team's progress for the business and/or organization.

What's the planned release date for this feature? Very important for me to share my goals with my coach.

Similar to the Challenges app, would be awesome if you could form a team to motivate each other. So you would get a code and invite friends to participate in your same goal. And then you could have a private chat within the team and cheer each other on and see each person’s progress.

It would be useful for people to get an update (i.e. automatic email or text) when someone completes a certain weekly/daily/monthly task.
For example, if someone has a habit that they are trying to break, by setting up an automatic notification to their significant other if the user admits breaking could help with accountability.
I could see this being useful in general for sharing progress (good or bad) automatically with anyone that cares about you.
This could be implemented by picking contacts manually or through accessing contacts database.

Allow users to share their trackers and results with others within their accountability circle.
I am a coach and this would create a great accountability platform within the coaching world. I’ve turned on many clients to this app because I think it is the best in its class. I’d love to use it socially and in my business to create more social accountability.

My friends and I check in daily to see how we are getting on - being able to compete or see how your streaks or percentages compare with them is a good motivator for when you are slacking. It helps with accountability.

I would like to find a community with the same or similar habits that need changing or starting. I have noticed that I like to get recognition for the work I do. It activates my reward-center in my brain and makes it even easier to achieve my daily goals.

Has this happened yet? I was considering this app because it looks like everything I need... except 1 deal-breaking caveat - I am doing this with the intention of working with an accountability partner. I need to be able to see and share my progress with another user so we can keep track of each other. I see in a picture on the front page of the Strides App website: stridesapp.com that there is a feature called "People" next to dashboard. However, I don't see this option in the web version of the app itself. Am I missing something? Looking to make a decision quickly.

THANK YOU strides team for such a wonderful concept of an app. Coming from a person with ADD this has yet to be the most revolutionary app out there. I can safely say you have saved me. However I have a proposition / suggestion that you might be interested in.
1. I have a virtual online life coach who keeps me accountable for basically everything / goal that I do. A proposition for you to implement another layer to your concept, is for professionals like him have exclusive access as the accountability mentor / professional / coach whatever you want to call it - where he would be able to track reel time every step of your ways and moves from goals I (as a user) have set from my type of access (the type of access I have now) - please let me know if you need further clarification for my explanation. But I think this could be huge for you for the one on one coaching and mentorship industry. The ultimate accountability tool!
2. Was wondering if you could improve the end of week reporting system. A report, graph or Something that I can look at at one glance eagles eye view to see where I am really going wrong. What goals am I not looking after enough. Also, if point one does interest you, a chance for the coach to comment on places where you went well and wrong in the week. Maybe a end of week questionnaire or something (TBD)
I see SO MUCH potential and space for improvement in strides and I will forever be supportive to your movement.
Please feel free to contact me on my email if you would like to chat more on what I’ve mentioned above. Ofcourse if there are limitations on what can and can’t be done. Totally understandable. But I’m a believer in working around restricted possibilities.
Looking forward to hearing back from you !????

I would like an option that allows my friends to see my new commitments, making more accountable to my goals
