Share with Accountability Partners
Share the progress you're making on a goal/habit with one or more accountability partners.
Now that Strides 16.0 is launched (you can break your big goals into small steps with the Project tracker's Milestone Checklist feature) we're starting development on Accountability! You'll be able to share your progress on specific goals with people to hold you accountable and keep you motivated.

Development is going well! We're making a lot of progress and on track to launch Accountability so you can share your 2025 goals with accountability partners. Can't wait for you to see it!
-
The first phase of Accountability development is wrapping up. To build it on a solid foundation we needed to do an overhaul of how Strides handles all the stats when changing time zones. This will help when someone travels, but also if they share their progress with someone in a different time zone. Just a few more things to wrap up and we'll start building the sharing feature!

Being able to text your accountability would be ideal

This would be a game changer for relationships— if there’s a chore you both interchangeably do, (for example we take turns cooking our 3 dinner meals each week which means we each do it twice one week, 3 the next).Or, if you set up a shared relationship goal, you could send your partner a “recognition” award for completing it

I personally would love it to be very simple, similar to "group habits" in the Habit Tracker app.
Not something annoying, just something that motivates each other in the group based on results others are getting because of consistency.
Maybe even the ability to add a small public note, so everyone in the group can be inspired by the results of not breaking a streak.
But everything needs to be streamlined so other group participants can have a sense at a quick glance over the group screen.
Thank you,

Same question as everyone else. When can we expect this?
Thanks,

Very happy to hear this is coming. This really makes a difference for certain habits. Most of the recent habit apps I see featured focus on that social aspect but lack many important features.

Very excited to see this is on the roadmap! Any word on when we might be able to expect this?

I love the Strides app and I’m setting my kids up to use it as well but I noticed that there’s no way to share your progress for accountability purposes. We are doing some family challenges together, and it would be great to be able to share our individual progress with the group as we complete each activity that we are tracking. For example, we are tracking weekly exercise, daily reading, water, intake, carbohydrate and protein intake, etc.
Ideally, as one of us completes a daily or weekly goal or even just makes progress towards our goals, the app would send a text message to each of the group members letting them know that “Luke completed his exercise goal of five times per week… How are you doing towards the progress of your goals?“

I’m a coach of 100 Individuals. I would use this feature and require the download of this app as part of our process if there was a way to share data and keep my clients accountable.
How soon will this feature be complete? Looks like it’s been in the works for a long time.

This feature is going to be a game changer for me. Plus…. What a great way to grow the network.

Any update on when this feature becomes active?

As a teacher, I could have access to see all my students' work. I could have multiple classes linked to my account. With live tracking of heart rate and steps that could be projected on a wall during a class to help motivate students and for them to see instant feedback.

I would love the opportunity to put our whole company in some way.

This tracker has some of the key components that many and potentially all persons are looking for. I particularly like the fact that it has an easy-to-understand, color-coordinated taskbar to track each one the goals you set. It works well as an individual tracker. However, for business, it'd be perfect if it'd allow you to share some of your goals with your team so that you could track your team's progress for the business and/or organization.

What's the planned release date for this feature? Very important for me to share my goals with my coach.

Similar to the Challenges app, would be awesome if you could form a team to motivate each other. So you would get a code and invite friends to participate in your same goal. And then you could have a private chat within the team and cheer each other on and see each person’s progress.

It would be useful for people to get an update (i.e. automatic email or text) when someone completes a certain weekly/daily/monthly task.
For example, if someone has a habit that they are trying to break, by setting up an automatic notification to their significant other if the user admits breaking could help with accountability.
I could see this being useful in general for sharing progress (good or bad) automatically with anyone that cares about you.
This could be implemented by picking contacts manually or through accessing contacts database.

Allow users to share their trackers and results with others within their accountability circle.
I am a coach and this would create a great accountability platform within the coaching world. I’ve turned on many clients to this app because I think it is the best in its class. I’d love to use it socially and in my business to create more social accountability.
