Integrations to log automatically
Here are some popular sites that you could pull data from to update goal progress automatically:
Fitbit - steps, miles, sleep time, calories
MyFitnessPal - calories, nutritional information
Runkeeper - miles ran, other exercises
Toodledo - tasks completed
With the Shortcuts app you can log your progress with triggers set in the Automation tab. This is a powerful way to track with integrations, though we still plan to build a separate Apple Health integration.

Think might be better to pull from Apple Health or equivalent Android rather than individual fitness trackers ?

I think integration with apps like Runkeeper, Fitbit, and solo apps would be great but I can also see a need personally for integration with platforms like Evernote, Swipes, ToDoist, Trello and other scheduling, team/collaborative/ personal project management platforms.

I don't use Fitbit etc - but might be handy to have sleep data pulled from a sleep tracking app.
Or maybe even better able to press "start" on sleep target and "end" in the morning, and have it calculate hours automatically.
This is basically the same as the feature to add time spent on tasks. I don't mind actual time asleep vs time i start the app when lights are off. The point is habit setting my goal, not actual time asleep which pplmight have less control over. -

Most of the habits have an app tied to them, Runkeeper for a run, headspace for mediation, yoga studio for yoga etc... it would be nice if this app automatically marked the task as complete when that app recorded the act.

I'd second (seventeenth?) webhooks or a reading API in order to push out the data from strides into more general quantified-self trackers like RescueTime, Gyroscope & Exist.io

Syncing with Toggl would be great. Tracking working hours per week or sleeping hours would be a breeze.

Thumbs up for this feature! It would open the doors to integrations, so Strides can become the main cockpit to check if everything is in balance. I would write a Toggl integration to keep track of sleep time and work time along the week.

When is this happening?

This would be huge. And I'd like to also suggest a webhook that pushes changes out to users. For an example of an awesome API, in my opinion, look at Trello's.
