Alerts should only alarm if I haven't already recorded something that day
I often log activities before my reminder alert is scheduled to alarm. The app still notifies me even though I have already recorded the info for the day.

Rewards
As a "reward" for goal achievement post a positive video/youtube related to the goal chosen
3 votesThe Goal Notes field is great for specifying rewards you’d like for accomplishing goals.

Allow deletion of a tracking entry
Currently you can only "start over", thereby deleting all of your tracking.
1 voteHi Brandon,
To delete an entry, clear the row in the Log History table (delete number or de-select the check or x icon). When you save the form, it will delete that log.
Have a great day!

Offline use
Please make Strides available for offline use. I'm not always in a place with internet access, but I'd still like to use the app I bought.
4 votesTotally agree, sorry about this (it was a bug). We fixed this in an update submitted on April 28th, but unfortunately we’re still waiting for Apple to review/approve it. Shouldn’t be much longer!

Divisions on goals and habits
- Division on goals and habits where certain habits assist in specific goal satisfaction like the goal is stay fit and habits: exercising, running, boxing, etc. Both habits and goals should have an option to be visualized i.e. To add image to those.
- Rotation function for iPad.
- Ability to view all of the notes on certain habit at a single page. It is very inconvenient now. Notes function should be extended and upgraded.
Thanks a lot! All success!

Can't download app from iTunes on laptop, or from App Store on iphone
I have tried to download the mobile app but it won't let me. It keeps timing out. This is the only place I could find to comment on it.
3 votesHi Mary, sorry about this! iTunes was experiencing an outage at this point, so it should be good to go now. Have a great day!

Log from lock screen.
Being able to swipe a strides notification from right to left (opposite of what you usually do to open the notification) and having a green check or red X appear would make it easier to log efficiently. This would be very similar to how you can favorite and retweet tweets from lock screen and how you can reply to messages.

Add better data to habit tracker
So that it says, done 3 times per week and 1 time below goal, and not only 0% success rate for all time, and 3/4 for this week.
I want to know how often I'm doing it over time, not just for this week.
NOTE: This would tie in to another user's idea of having a custom goal like do x times per y days. It should show the frequency as you've done it I times per I days on average, not just per that week, etc.

Swipe to check!
Swipe to the left (or short swipe to the right; long swipe to reveal options) to check an habit. Now I have to tap at least 3 times to have something checked, what a boring routine it is to check 10 habits a day!
Mailbox and Clear rely a lot on swiping and I think that it would suit Strides perfectly as well.56 votes -
Allow for periodic entries to allow for daily progress to be monitored (e.g., incremental calorie tracking as progress is made)
I want to be able, after every meal, to log my calories. Or to log classes of water consumed as I go.

Sharing, Reporting and exporting data
The app can be very powerful if it had reporting and exporting capability, great for sharing status!

Support landscape on iPad
I seldom use anything in portrait mode on my iPad. Sure some graphs look better in portrait, but I'd rather use Strides in landscape mode. Also the keyboard works much better in landscape in my opinion.

Better Sync!
When I open the app, many times do I get duplicates of my goals due to synchronization errors. It's enough of a hassle deleting these every time, it's almost not worth using the app. Please fix this ASAP!!

Seinfeld chain - Do not show days that are not included in the tracking
Let say you commit to workout on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Despite selecting M,W,F you will have to enter T,Th and S. Thus, you will have some red on your tracking record which is not good on a subconscious level (diminish the reward)
Like wonderful days or good habit apps, the series should only be one colored to encourage the user not to break the chain!
Seinfeld would explain it better.

Categories
Hi, it would be helpful if I could put goals into different categories. It would help me keep them separate.

"Habit or Goal Strategy" description
The app should offer the "goal or habit strategy" fields to fill. 1.WHY is important, 2.WHO will benefit, 2.WHERE will it take place, 4. HOW is going to be done.

Fix sluggishness
This app used to be fantastic, but since the introduction of the subscription model and the web based storage of tracker data the app seemed really unresponsive. I am running this on an iPhone 6 so I don't believe it is a hardware issue. You should consider using local storage as the primary storage mechanism with a background sync that doesn't slow down user experience.
1 voteThanks James! So sorry about that. It was just a strange bug that slipped in when we rebuilt sync.
It has to do with tracker Start Dates that are far back in the past because it was going through all the days. We fixed that in v3.1 (submitted April 28th, but we’re still waiting for Apple to approve it…should go live this week) and it’s blazing fast!
