Color coding for Dashboard
I'd like to see some customizable color coding options in Strides. For instance, being able to make my fitness goals red in the Dashboard, and my dietary goals blue, etc. This would really help to organize goals and log them quickly at a glance.
Depending on the level of implementation throughout the app (eg. if users were able to choose the colors of entries and graphs), this would also fix the issue of visibility of the strictly red and green graphs for those who are color blind.:)

Sorting Options
I have daily goals, weekly goals, and monthly goals I track. It would be very helpful if you could have sorting options or lists so I don't have to sort through each one.

Export and Reports
Be great to export data to excel and email goal stats. Would also be great to be able to create group goals.

Intelligent Reminders
I love the app and use it every day but the reminders are not very intelligent. If I have already completed say "drink 8 glasses of water" for the day, but there are still reminders scheduled, they will remind me regardless. This can be very annoying.
Instead, there should be an option such as "remind every hour until completed", which can simply be controlled by setting a starting time, say 7:00 in the morning. This would make much more sense in my opinion.

Emoticons/Symbols (bug)
Possibility to put simple symbols in your personal habit/goal names. Every time when I'm putting some symbols as title they disappears...

Reminder Snooze
It would be great to have the option to hit snooze on a reminder. Sometimes I get reminded when I haven't done the task yet that day, and I think I might do it a little later. I would like to be able to quickly say, "ask me again in an hour."

Fix sync
Syncing from the website is not happening. I vote for this feature.
15 votesSo sorry if you saw any issues with syncing. We were getting 1,000’s of signups all at once which caused server issues, so we upgraded everything to prevent this going forward.
You should be able to use it without these issues now. Thanks for your patience, and have a great day!

Notes Field for Each Goal
Add multiple lines of text field behind each goal. This would allow users to add details about goal.

Reward for a goal reached
Add somewhere to mark the reward if you reach the goal. Better to be emphasized so that I could always be reminded to stick to the goal if I want that reward.

Swipe complete
Make it able to swipe left on the home screen like with reminders so we do not have to go inside the app when ever we need to log our progress

Fix early adopter bug
I was given only a trial, but you should make the option to unlock the app/user name, for life. As per your kind announcement in V3.0.0!!

Calendar overerview for habits
I would like to see a monthly calendar that displays the status of my habit tracker (or x per y tracker). Currently the most I can see is the past week, so I can't see any larger trends of improvement or identify other patterns (eg. I always fail on Thursdays). The dashboard and stats are nice, but I prefer having that data in front of me on a calendar.

Make tracking more succinct
Love the ability to track in the dashboard but it still requires too many clicks. Once I click on the track button and the popup comes up I should be able to tap outside the popup on the screen to close the popup, instead of having to specifically tap the X button to close.

Log editing feature
This feature is important because there are times that the phone is not available to record a log, this will help to be more precise when the app do its statistical math
8 votesTo edit a previous log, tap History (or the log icon on the tracker’s view) and tap the row in the table, then submit all changes with the top right icon.

Exclude this period
When working with weekly averages, the average fluctuated wildly as data is entered for the current week, even with your extrapolated calculation. Say I was averaging 1 per week entering that on Sunday. When a new week starts your method extrapolates that to 7 and throws off the average until the week is completed. So my trend might be 1 2 1 1 1 and the average shows 2.5 and slowly comes back down. Obviously with this data it should be between 2 and 1 and could never exceed 2. Excluding the current period from the calculation would solve this.
1 voteGreat point, thanks Jeff! We fixed this in v3.0.2, so it only considers what you’ve done, and exactly how much time has passed.
