  1. More features for a one time fee

Do not want to lose my records due to money problems. Not enough features for the. Recurring price and need. Option to upload data to Windows 10 computer so I can show my Dr my info. PLEASE make it a one time fee there really isn't much you can do on here. Not worth buying over and over.

Rather than charge a one-time fee for unlimited habits, we give away unlimited habits AND unlimited goals, 100% free forever.

We also have server costs because you can sync your data to our Web app (which you can access on any Windows or Mac computer, tablets, etc).

The current Plus features are designed to add extra value for power users, and people love them, but there are many more on the way, which will make Strides Plus even more valuable.

If you’d like to support development of more features and improvements, please subscribe and/or tell your friends about it.

If you don’t want to pay the $3.33-$4.99/month for the added value because it’s not worth the price to you, then enjoy the free plan!

  2. Better privacy

Would really like my data encrypted/private. Really appreciate your information privided on web site about privacy, but I'm looking for more privacy.

  3. Card View

Currently all goals are listed vertically.

Consider implementing a Card View where goals could be displayed as cards or tiles with an icon.

Clicking the card could display details for the goal.

Thanks for the idea! We thought through this, and have decided to stick with the vertical list, because giving the option would greatly increase coding complexity and add an extra button to the Dashboard, while displaying less useful info for each tracker.

That said, we do have a card layout on the Web app since there’s a lot more horizontal space to work with.

Thanks again for the feedback, and best of luck with all your goals & habits!

  4. Attach pictures

As a user I want to be able to attach pictures along with my completed habit for day so that I can visually see my progress.

Example: I post a picture of my fingernails for my habit "don't bite fingernails" I can see overtime how they have grown.

  5. Cool goal idea

    Hi

I think it would be great if for example on Monday /Tuesday / Wednesday ( option to chose days of week ) if my goal is to read a book for 2 hour those days at 1pm I can set up a reminder alert and also when 1pm comes a progress line/timer will start showing how long I been reading the book and how long I have till to finish that goal for that day.

The option to pause the progress line/timer would be great incase if I only read for like 40min I can pause and get back…

  6. Range Goal

I noticed that the "average" goal is very effective for me. It boosts the time that I've spent reading, exercising, etc...

    But sometimes I lose balance.

That's because-- when I exceed a goal, another one gets ignored-- especially one that I'm not tacking!

So having a range goal would be helpful.

i.e. Goal: read between 120 to 150 minutes a week.

This means that the "more is better slider" would get replaced with a list of options: less is better; more is better and between is better.

  7. Reminder Every X Minutes

I' dills to be able to configure reminders for a task to be sent every … minutes (or hours) between two configurable times of day. For example I'd like to be reminded to stand up every 30min between 7:15 and 8:45. It' strike I can achieve this currently by creating 27 reminders, but that's a clunky hassle.

Apple limits the number of scheduled notifications per app to 64 at a time, so this would actually prevent you from getting alerts if you have a few trackers doing this.

Good news though! We’re adding Snooze Alerts in v4.1 (coming out in December), so you’ll be able to snooze 5 minutes or 15 minutes if you’d like to get another alert when you’re not quite ready to log.

  8. Pictures

Add feature we can upload a pic of our goal

  9. Priority goal setting

Basically when you achieve something for that day it goes to the bottom of list. If you haven't accomplished it for that day it rises to the top.

Also, if you could individually prioritize goals by how crucial they are to achieve so top goals automatically rise to the top whereas some lesser goals could be given a smaller priority.

  11. Habit: Rolling

Currently just track by day, week or month and at the end of each month it resets the count.

For example I had completed something 27 times in a row and at the start of November it reset to zero as its a new month. I want to view how many times I've done something since I began it

This use case is much better handled with the Rolling Average setting on the Average tracker type than with the Habit type. It covers just about everything that's been requested here, and adjusting the Habit tracker in this way would be too complex, so we're sticking with the Rolling Average feature.

  12. Have success rate circle show varying time frames

I think it would be great to have the success rate circle show multiple time frames. Currently it shows total success from start of tracker. But it would be cool to allow user to tap the circle and see last year, last mont, last week, last 3 months, last 6 months, YTD, etc. Maybe provide all these views and let the user configure what options will appear. For example, maybe a user wants to see since start, last year and last month. They could set it up so that they can tap through just these options.

  15. Day & Week strides

I wish I could see my daily progress and my weekly progress at the same time. Right now if my goal is to get up at 5AM everyday (which is necessarily also 7x a week) I can only see my progress for one of those timespans. I also can't go back and look at my weekly progress from previous weeks.

Thanks for the idea. We’ve thought about this for a very long time, and though it sounds simple to add one unit, we would have to support any type of unit, and most are words after the number, which would dramatically complicate the interface design and create a lot of clutter.

That said, we’ll keep looking into it, and if we can come up with a great solution we’ll do it. Also, we’re working on something really cool for tracking financial goals, but we’ll say more about that next year. :)

  18. Associate Geolocation Data with Completed Strides

This would associate geolocation data with completed goals/tasks, ideally leading to a map viewer where users could see where goals and tasks were completed. It would be optional; and use the "Use location only while using the app" setting. Would also be available when exporting data.

  19. Ability to arrange tags manually

Some times it is easer to have the most used tags at top or bottom in order to rewiew progress faster and also for the ergonomics of the newest iPhones big screens.
Every second counts, so the accomplishment felling can be experienced more often during the day!
    Reviewing = Progress.
