Adding Units
For things like drinking water, each time we log it we should be able to add how many mls we drink etc. I know it's been a declined idea in the past but maybe it could be rethought
4 votesThanks so much for the feedback. We talked through this again, and will not be adding units, at least any time soon. It would complicate and clutter up the interface too much to be worthwhile, but if we find a way to make it work nicely we’ll definitely do it. Thanks again!

Long title and subtitle support
Please, when I type a long goal title, don't show me the first few words, I put it is there in order to read it! Show me all of it! There is room for two lines! Use them!
I'm just tired of seeing things like:
Water the plants a...
When it should be:
Water the plants at
mother's house0 votesMaybe it would be better for us to change the character limit so it couldn’t cut it off?
That way, you’d be constrained in the naming process, so you could name it something more concise like “Water Mother’s Plants”.
Sorry, but there is not enough room for two lines, while staying within a legible font size for something as important as the Tracker Name.
Also, this is a very difficult problem to solve, because it’s different on every screen size, and the new 4.7" & 5.5" screens are already about 50% of all active iPhones (with those larger screens, you can see more characters).
Lastly, we’re about to release a Goal Notes feature so you can enter tons of text with details if you’d like, so hopefully that helps too.

Track Without Average
It would be nice to be able to create a goal or habit, and not have to see the average.
Having the choice, to be able to turn off the average, for any given tracker, would be a great feature.

Daily/weekly/monthly tabs on dashboard
It will be cool to have tab selector on dashboard with daily/weekly/monthly goals and habits. So it will be easier to select it
4 votesWe won’t be adding tabs, but the Tags & Filters feature would make this easy to accomplish.

Random alerts asking "are you doing X" now.
If my goal is to to smile all the time, or keep a positive attitude, I'd like to be surveyed to see whether I'm actually doing that.
The alert could just ask, "are you X now", and to dismiss I would touch "yes" or "no". The daily/periodic reports would show my "yes frequency" by day/period.
Psych studies/experiments can operate this way -- asking for attitude or emotion at random times.

Week view grid
I would like to be able to see a grid with my goals down the left side and days of the week across the top, with red or green in each intersecting cell according to how I've done for the week.

Helvetica (optionally)
Title says it all. We need an alternative, more serious font like Helvetica!!!1 :-)
4 votesThis is a branding thing for us, truthfully. Plus, we love the way the font we chose looks with numbers (crucial for Strides of course). Plus, Apple just switched from Helvetica to San Francisco, a less “serious” font. :)

Swipe down ability
Bring back the ability to swipe down to log activity
1 voteHi Brandon,
Thanks for reaching out!
This was a very old (iOS 6) gesture that caused lots of code problems, and the Dashboard quick log popup is much more efficient than going to the Tracker view, swiping down, logging in the table, tapping the checkmark, then swiping back.
So, we very likely won’t be able to bring this back, unless we can figure out a way to do it that doesn’t cause bugs like the old one did.
Hope the Dashboard logging works well for you! Tip: You can tap History from that popup to jump straight to the table, then edge swipe back to the Dashboard from there.
Have a great day!

Daily Habits to show in iOS8 pull down menu/widget
I love this app, but I find that sometimes I forget to log or complete a habit item because I'm busy don't have time to check the app throughout the day.
It would be great if the daily habits could show in a widget on the pull-down menu on iOS, maybe with a swipe to complete or little check mark button. Once complete for that day, it could disappear. That way I can easily see what habits I still need to do that day and track them even when I don't remember to check the app.
Maybe it could work…

Waypoints on weight loss
Allow me to set an overall weight loss goal but to also set a goal for each week
14 votesI like the idea, but this would over-complicate the settings and chart output too much to justify.

Moving averages in charts to show trends
I monitor my weight daily but it can go up or down a bit each day. I'd like a configurable moving average displayed on the chart such as 10 day moving average so I can see the broad trend.

Burndown Graphs of To Do Tasks
There used to be an amazing App on iTunes called Action Plan - which let you create a list of To Do Tasks and as each one was completed - it would be shown on a Burndown Chart.
I would like to be able to add tasks descriptions as well as just numerical numbers - so I can see this shown on a Burndown Chart.
Would this be possible to add ?
Thanks

Checklist for tracker
Example - morning routine has several steps. I'd like to be able to check off each step within that tracker (without creating a separate tracker for each step). This would allow me to keep track of the areas of that tracker (I.e. Morning routine in this scenario) where I need to adjust or do better at.

Zapier Integration
Zapier enables integration with over 400 of the most used web services. Strides would make an excellent addition to the other services. Zapier may even be a solution to some of the other export features some have been asking for.
