A quick access, menubar app for the Mac which allows users to access their Strides data at a glance and log data in a couple of clicks.

There have been a few good implementations of this on other apps (example: WaterMinder, Momentum, etc).

The ever-present aspect of the menubar on the Mac makes it the perfect place for frequently used apps that sync data across devices. It’s a win-win because it allows users to always access their data throughout their workday, and it also allows developers to have their app in front of the user at all times (maximizing app utilization and therefore, user retention).

Would be awesome to have a desktop app for Mac! Would much rather use it vs the web app.

I usually check my phone only on evening, 90% of the time I use my laptop to do some chore. There are some task I want to do in the morning but I am not able to check my phone.

It would be nice to have notification support on mac :)

The Mac app has been a very low priority because we have a Web app, which can be added to the dock with a site-specific browser tool like Fluid app.

That said, Apple is supposed to release a big update in 2019 that should make sharing code between iOS & Mac apps a lot easier. If they do, we'll strongly consider building a menubar app for Mac. If they don't, we will probably create a lightweight menubar companion to the Web app.

What is the ETA on the Mac app?

A dedicated app with a menu bar pulldown is essential! Please make it happen.

For quick entry I think it would be ace to see favourite trackers in the notification centre widget in OSX. Not all, I have a few, but just favourite ones.

They have an app now. Why is this still showing as "Planned"?
