Progress Reports
The tracking of habits is quite good but instead of the dashboard we should have an option to switch to analytics view that would display all habits in calendar mode or in a graph so we can get a general idea of how we are doing with all our habits without having to click on each one individually. Tracking is useless without the ability to easily get the picture of where we stand and what we need to improve and that’s not as smooth as it should be right now in my opinion. Also would be very helpful for those of us who are more visually inclined and those who want to do a review of all their habits once a day or once a week without having to spend a lot of time on the app. (There’s also something that’s really pleasing to the eyes by just watching numbers, a graph would be much better) PLEASE UPVOTE SO THE DEVELOPERS CAN SEE THIS (if you agree of course).
Progress Reports are now live in Strides!
After a ton of design work, prototyping, development, beta testing and fixes, I’m really proud of how it turned out.
The amount of positive feedback has been amazing to see, and we’ll continue to improve it over time. We added an Average Progress feature to the Dashboard so you can see how you’re doing across all your goals & habits, and people with Strides Plus can see Trends (by week, month & year), Calendar (all-time) and Rankings (by streak) across all their trackers. All of that can be filtered by tag too, so you can run reports on your health, money, routines, etc. Enjoy!
Best of luck with all your goals & habits,
Kyle Richey

When should we expect to see this in app?
It’s been a long six months not knowing and watching it appear in other apps.. 😥

Rec this, this would be the final step to a comprehensive lifestyle tracking app like no other. Thank you for your hard work on this product and I look forward to this feature in 2018.

This is really annoying that such a basic feature is not there

Would be cool to use Tags as the grouping methodology for showing multiple trackers on a single view.

Something as simple as a trend line would be nice

I would like to see a monthly calendar view that shows and initial or icon for each of my goals so that I can get an overview of everything I completed that month. For example a W for workouts, an N for novel — user picks a letter or symbol for each goal. Then I can see them all on my monthly calendar view. Option to include each goal in calendar view or not. So that I can see all exercise goals - yoga, weightlifting, hiking — but not other goals if I want.

I like the idea of gold, silver, bronze, with thresholds for percentage of tasks done (customizable for each user) E.g. gold = >95%, silver = >80%, bronze= >50%, anything less than bronze does not show a circle on the date. Easy to visualize, yet flexible for each person.

When are the “big plans” happening in 2018?

What I'm looking for with analytics is to be able to show the bar graphs across multiple trackers together or at least on page where I can simply scroll down and look for patterns across multiple trackers. As it currently is, I have to look at one bar graph, remember the numbers/dates and then jump to another related tracker and compare. The Today app does a great job of doing this by allowing you to add multiple "cards" to a given tracker (however, they've got other issues and just don't provide as rich a set of trackers as Strides).
For example, if I'm tracking Sleep, Stress and Productivity then it would be nice to see how these correlate on a single page. Just line up the graphs and let me scroll down the graphs without all the other information.

I would like to be able to look at one calendar that shows me little colored dots or even the circle of daily progress so I can see which days have a complete or almost complete circle and overall how close I am to completing all goals on all days they are scheduled. It would make me feel better to see 80% or 90% or 100% of all goals being met each day. Maybe those could be gold, silver or bronze days on the calendar. It is nice to see the calendar for each individual habit but I am much more interested in this “master”view.

I’d love to see all my habits together on one graph so I can see how one correlates to the other.
