Hi, this is Kyle, the CEO of Strides. Just wanted to reply to thank you for taking the time. I really appreciate it. I read every bit of feedback and take it all to heart to make Strides better.
We are a very small, self-funded company building an ad-free service that keeps your data private. It's only possible to continue running this business if people upgrade for premium features.
We weren't showing our premium plan nearly often enough and it was hurting the business for years. Many popular, highly-rated apps, some of which have been selected as Editor's Choice and even won Apple Design Awards, show their paywall right when the app is launched. That's what experts recommend, but I felt that would be too distracting in Strides.

Planning to release this feature after Accountability (sharing goals and habits with other people). Working on designs for time tracking in the meantime. Thanks for your patience. Have a great day!

This would be a very useful addition to the "Target: Number by Date" option. For example, I'd like to track a goal of 1500 hours of listening to German but be able to enter this in blocks of minutes (for example, 23 minutes on one day) or hours and minutes (for example, 2 hours and 7 minutes on one day), with the total displaying in hours and minutes (for example, 593 hours and 20 minutes). It's fine with me if the total is rounded to the nearest hour.
(At the moment, the only way to achieve this is to set a goal of 90,000 minutes and add time in minutes.)
