Include Weekends in When to Log Option
Include weekends in the weekdays option under when to log. It would be useful to be able to create a goal 3 or 4 days of the week to include weekends.
1 voteWhen selecting Weekdays from the When to Log picker, you can choose any combination of the seven days of the week, including weekends. Have a great day!

Turn habit off on certain days
I for example try to get up within 20 minutes. On Sundays I get all the time I want, so this habit could be paused for that day. I know I can simply refrain from making a log that day, but I would like it if the dashboard in any way showed I didn't have to take care of it at all.

Information Overload
Summary: information overload can lead to procrastination and make it harder to focus on the task at hand.
Idea: remove habits from the dashboard once they have been completed for the day.
This isn't something that you probably need to worry about if you're only tracking one or two habits. However, once you get past 6 or so I think it becomes a problem.
I'm currently tracking 13 habits and can definitely feel the information overload. With so many habits to track, which one am I supposed to focus on right now? I think removing habits from the dashboard once…

Days should start at 4am
If I floss my teeth at 12:03am on Tuesday, it shouldn't count toward Tuesday...if should count toward Monday. Same if I have a cocktail at 12:03. Start a new day at 4am. That way, Late night activity is attributed to the proper day.

Ability to choose specific days of the week for logging a habit
Sometimes I want to say, log my weight every week, but I do it on Sunday at 11am. Or check my weight Monday Wednesday and Friday.
1 voteTo do this, edit the tracker by choosing Weekdays for the When to Log setting, and pick the days of the week you’d like to log / get alerts.

I would love to see a yes/no tracker. Simply, did I do this target behavior today - yes or no?
For example, I'd like to track "beat the alarm" as a target behavior (meaning, did I get out of bed before my snooze alarm rang). The data for that would simply be "yes, I did," or "no, I did not." I can't figure out a way to track that with the current options given.
3 votesThanks for reaching out Becky! To track a yes/no behavior like “beat the alarm”, I’d recommend a Habit tracker (the second type on Setup Step 2 – Enter the name in the text box on Step 1 and the > button).
It’ll keep track of your Success Rate and Streaks too. Best of luck with all your goals & habits!

Implement filter goals by week/month/year.
Stridesapp should allow us to use filter goals by week/month/year.
3 votesThe best way to do this is to use Tags, and filter the Dashboard to those trackers.

Better habit/average options
Please add specific habit options.
Instead of only allowing "day, week, month, etc..." please allow a number of days, weeks, or months.Same goes for averages. Please allow us to set specific lengths.
I specifically want to be able to have a habit tracked, to do it 1 or less times every 10 days. I cannot do this easily now.
0 votesThanks for the feedback! This is possible with the Average tracker using the Rolling Average option:
Choose a number of Logs, and it will use that for the Average calculation.
For example, I track my Sleep with a Goal of 7.5 or More, with a Rolling Average of 7, so it only considers the last 7 logs.
I log every morning, and with Rolling I can always tell how I’ve been sleeping over the past week. If it’s red, I know I need to go to bed early. :)
As for Habits, we’ve run the numbers and there’s a very small minority of people using the Monthly option, which would have even more applications/uses than a specific number of days, so we’ve decided not to put the development effort into this feature (since it’s still doable with the Rolling Average option, and because it’d be a huge change to the…

Enable Vibration for Notifications
It would be nice to have the alarm set on goals to notify via vibration because a lot of people have to keep their phones on vibrate at work, school etc, however, this could be very useful to help stay on track in those settings as well.
3 votesJust re-tested this and confirmed vibration is working, as long as it is turned on in the Settings app (Sounds view).

Month + Year view of goal
Clicking on icon when ur inside the goal that gives you the months view or years views of the entire streak. Currently tapping the strides icon gives you a terrible day by day thing to scroll through which is useless and inefficient. WE NEED A MONTHLY and YEARLY VEIW. Thanks strides best habit app on the planet

Be able to back date goal progress
If you complete your goals and forget to enter them until the next day, you can't add them. It would be nice to be able to back date in case you forget to add at the time.
1 voteThanks for reaching out Jen!
To backlog or edit past logs, tap the Log icon on the left, then tap History below the popup (you can also tap the tracker then the top right button).
There you’ll see a complete history with every day since the tracker’s Start Date and all its logs. To delete a log, de-select the icon (clear the row for goal trackers). You can also edit values and add notes there.
Hope that helps! Have a great day,
Kyle
