Intention setter
Allow users to create/set an intention for the day and then perhaps rate their effectiveness attaining it by the end of the day either with a Leikert scale or something else.
1 voteThat's a neat idea, thanks for sharing! This is possible, here's how I'd set it up:
- Create an Average tracker with a Goal like 5 for a 1-5 rating, for example. e.g. Intention: X
- In the morning, set the day's intention as the Tracker Name, like "Intention: Today's intention goes here"
- At the end of the day, rate it from 1-5, and it will track the average rating per day.
Hope that helps. Best of luck with all your goals & habits!

Add ability to use hyperlinks
One use case: Right now I have Physical Therapy homework to do 4 times a day, with a longer explanation... would love it if I could create Strides habits for "PT #1 of 4", "PT #2 of 4", and then link to my document (in this case, in Notion) with a page full of detail.
Another use case: I keep a log of physical fitness activities... so while Strides is great for binary "Yes/No" tracking, I can't record weights/ reps etc. or times & mileage for running - would be great if Strides was my master tracker that I could…1 voteHi Kurt,
Thanks for reaching out! Great idea, I'm thinking through how we could implement it now. In the meantime, I wanted to mention a couple things that might help:
- The Log with Note setting for Habit trackers allows you to add a note with a Yes/No log. Or, you can add a note after logging by long-pressing/right-clicking the habit.
- You can track any number goal with the Target and Average tracker types, which also can include notes. Also, the Apple Health integration allows you to track fitness activities automatically.
I totally get that Notion is a powerful tool for notes and documents so it probably wouldn't be a full replacement but wanted to mention it in case it could in some cases for you.
I'll think through the hyperlinks idea, thanks again!

Sync / Connect with Garmin (connect)
Great that it syncs with Apple Health……but would be really useful if it also could sync with Garmin connect. I have linked Apple health with my Garmin connect, but I have more info in Garmin than Apple collects, that I track on strides as a goal (body battery, for example).

Future tracking
I know this was partially answered saying it’s possible by just doing the thing early, but for my case I am trying to track my vacation time at work. I have unlimited FTO and want to make sure I am taking at least 25 days this year. My next day off is in March (it’s Feb now) so I would like to track the day off to the March date so I have a calendar view of when the time off happened not when I thought about taking it.

New Tracker: Log with drop-down menu
Add a new way to log by setting up options to choose from instead of logging Yes/No or a number.
For example, I could create a Mood Tracker with options like Happy, Excited, Nervous, Sad, Bored, etc. and to log I would choose one of those options.
The tracker would then show what percentage of the time I choose each option, and could potentially graph each choice over time.

Move to Evening option
Please add a “Move to evening” or “Move to end” option.
— For example: forgot to take my medication this morning. I’ll take it when I get home, BUT I don’t want it at the top of my list all day.Sort of like Snooze from notifications but for the order in the Due section of the Today tab.
