Progress Reports
The tracking of habits is quite good but instead of the dashboard we should have an option to switch to analytics view that would display all habits in calendar mode or in a graph so we can get a general idea of how we are doing with all our habits without having to click on each one individually. Tracking is useless without the ability to easily get the picture of where we stand and what we need to improve and that’s not as smooth as it should be right now in my opinion. Also would be very helpful for those of us who are more visually inclined and those who want to do a review of all their habits once a day or once a week without having to spend a lot of time on the app. (There’s also something that’s really pleasing to the eyes by just watching numbers, a graph would be much better) PLEASE UPVOTE SO THE DEVELOPERS CAN SEE THIS (if you agree of course).
Progress Reports are now live in Strides!
After a ton of design work, prototyping, development, beta testing and fixes, I’m really proud of how it turned out.
The amount of positive feedback has been amazing to see, and we’ll continue to improve it over time. We added an Average Progress feature to the Dashboard so you can see how you’re doing across all your goals & habits, and people with Strides Plus can see Trends (by week, month & year), Calendar (all-time) and Rankings (by streak) across all their trackers. All of that can be filtered by tag too, so you can run reports on your health, money, routines, etc. Enjoy!
Best of luck with all your goals & habits,
Kyle Richey

See week by week performance of all goals in one place

If I'm reading this right. I'd like to see results by the Tag. Like if I have a few different tasks I'm tracking within one tag id like to see how that tag is doing as a whole.

Specifically, I read this as the need for "grouping" items more than just tags. I see this as planned - is it the idea of grouping that's planned or something else?

This feature would be similar to the Way of Life app.

I would also add the ability to upload and send those summarised results for all tasks in a tag instead of only each on its own.

It also would be great to quickly know how you're doing with the overall goal. Right now I see the individual results for each item in the health category, for example, but I'd like a running total to see how I'm doing overall. And the ability to easily split out those results for different time periods (which was addressed in a different suggestion that I've voted in favour of).

I would love to see a calendar view of all my goals and see where their achievements (or lapses) overlap.
This could lead to some valuable insights to optimize my performance

One way might be to enable consideration of trends by tags. I would like to see the trends in all my goals under health at once etc.

I would like to be able to few multiple "trackers" in one fracker graph. For instance, I want to track my lifting progress. The combo-tracker would chart squats, deadlifts, bench, etc on the same graph so I can see how I'm doing on all of them at once instead of one at a time. Or I do some math exercises of varying difficulty and would like to track my completion time for each one on the same tracker chart. I'm picturing it like an excel chart with multiple series.
Love the app. Thanks. -

Would be useful to have in the chart of one goal also the bar chart of other habits. For instance a weight loss goal and positive or negative habits like gym, eating pizza or vegetables or drinking water or go dancing. To achieve the goal is helpful to understand what helps and what you should avoid to do. A nice way would be to have the line chart for the goal, like now, and also one or more barcharts together, this for user selectable habits.

With only 16 trackers it's practically impossible to assess progress cumulatively. What's the status?

Out of all feature ideas, this is what I want the most.

Looking forward to this feature. A cumulative progress percentage for all or select habits and goals will be beneficial.

I agree. I have a year target goal but would like to be able to see plot lines on my chart. If I could toggle between week month etc it would be ideal. Plots are to close to see anything at this point.

I have an ongoing goal of exercising and would like to see it break down by week, month, or year from time to time to see how I am doing recently, or comparing with last period (year etc). It would be great to toggle the chart to aggregate by different time range. For now I have to create a new tracker every year to quickly see how I did every year. Thanks!

Great to hear that you are working on this! Please make it intuitive to see how the performance on one tracker, relates to another. I posted an idea about this called "Overlay Tracker Results to Find Correlations" but I am mentioning here also because it seems related to this feature

Maybe simple but successes vs opportunities to give an idea how you are doing overall or in the different categories on the 1st screen

Or let me pull all my data down for import into an excel sheet etc. Thanks.

Good! I'm testing strides vs habitbull at the moment. During the week Strides is a clear winner. Right now I'm doing my weekly review and want to add some screenshots of how the week went into Evernote. The clear winner here is habitbull, so if you implement this I will go with strides for sure! :)
