Calories surplus
Could you please add calories surplus with Apple health. This should be the opposite of calories deficit, which will help people who are trying to gain weight.
3 votesHi, I'm looking into this and seeing if it gets more votes. In the meantime, you can do this by setting your energy deficit goal as a negative number. Tap the +/- sign to the left of the Goal number to do that. I know it's a bit odd to use a double negative that way, but figured it was worth mentioning that it's possible with the current setup since our roadmap is packed at the moment and I'm not sure when we would be able to add this. Best of luck with all your goals & habits!

Beeminder Integration (commitment contracts)
https://www.beeminder.com/overview
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/beeminder/id551869729Not all things Strides would be a good fit to use with Beeminder, but what would be could be very effective.
Their description:
What is Beeminder?
It's reminders with a sting! Or, goal-tracking with teeth.
Mind anything you can graph — weight, pushups, to-do tasks completed — by replying with data when Beeminder prompts you. Or connect with one of the dozens of services (like Fitbit or RescueTime) that we integrate with to report automatically.
We plot your progress with a Bright Red Line to your goal. Keep all your datapoints on the good side of your red…

I should be able to specify a number of times per day or amount of time per day I want to do a habit separate from no of times per wk/mo
This is a feature in a number of other apps (like Habit Tracker). You can set a number of times you want to accomplish something per day (like at least 5 times drinking water per day or at least 30 minutes of exercise per day), and independently specify how many times per week (or month) you want to complete that habit (e.g. 4 days a week).
Strides is so close to being the best, but this feature is key in my mind. I don't want to have to work out every single day, I also don't want to set a…

Organize Trackers With A ‘Primary’ Tag Subheading
Saw that this was suggested before but closed out. Would still love to see the ability to toggle on ‘sort tasks by tag’ for due items (and custom sort within those categories?). Potentially with the ability to collapse the groupings if scrolling/visibility is a concern? I know we can filter, but really would like to see all listed and sorted at the same time.
3 votesThanks for the feedback! We added the Group by Tag feature to the Reports tab for this use case and it's working really well. Have you tried that yet?
As for doing this on the Today tab that's a lot trickier since it's designed to show status headings for only trackers that are due today.
If the Reports tab's Group by Tag feature doesn't cover your use case I'd like to hear your thoughts on that, and if you'd just want to sort the Due, Done, Missed and Skipped sections by their tags. That's still a bit complex since each tracker can have multiple tags, but it is possible that we could add the option to choose a primary tag so I could think through that.
Have a great day!

Display information pertinent to date clicked - specifically for [target: number by date] trackers
Hi, I currently have strides plus. I recently started using it and I love the tracker capabilities.
However, I have noticed something very strange. Not sure of this is a glitch or intentional. Whenever I go to the previous days to look at the previous days entries for all of my [Target: Number by Date] entries are just displaying the same information I see on the current day. Which is not very useful for me. And, honestly I’m kind of frustrated. I click on the previous days because I want to see what my latest entry was on that day!!,…

Add "Spirituality" template category
You have included "prayer" as one of the templates under "Wellness," but perhaps you could add an entire category that is labeled as "Spirituality" and within that label, you could include prayer, church attendance, ministering, service, scripture study, meditation, etc.

Pace: Don't consider non-Due dates
When you set a Target Goal the pace is where you should at least be if you want to reach your target on time. Currently the pace is simply the progress / seconds passed. But if you want to not work on the task on some weekdays it makes sense that the pace will spread the workload to the other weekdays equally. Otherwise the pace will advance on weekdays you don’t want do work on the task which is unintuitive.

Customise app badge options
More options here would be good. I don’t like seeing badges for weekly goals for example. I also have a daily goal where I have to log twice a day that can be completed anytime during the day - I don’t need a badge on this as it would just have a badge almost the entire day. Also, the ability to turn off badges per habit would also be good (like DONE app have.) It’s annoying when I constantly have a badge showing for a habit that I only need to complete 4 times per week. It trains me to…

Log all items as completed for 1 day with one press
I have about 30 presses to mark a day as complete. I’m so busy I’ll miss logging several days in a row even though I know I completed everything. For 6 days that’s 180 presses. It’d be way easier if it were 6 presses.
3 votesHaving a single tap to complete everything would cause a lot more trouble than it's worth, and it's very likely things would slip through the cracks if they're not even considered for logging. Plus, it wouldn't even be possible for 3 out of 4 tracker types since they require entering numbers/percentages. That said, I've been thinking about adding a bulk edit option to the long-press menu that would allow you to log yes, no or skip in bulk for all your habits so I'll see if there's more feedback on this one.

Pause all trackers, including those that are Apple health integration
The workarounds with notifications do not work for integrations - all my goals are mostly integrations. Please, add an option to pause any tracker I want including the ones from integrations. P.S: I have a lifetime subscription with you if it means anything 😀
3 votesThanks for reaching out, and for your support! It means a lot. 😀
Just checking in to make sure I'm understanding this correctly: when you say "pause" a tracker, do you want to skip a day so it doesn't count against you? Or something else? The Skip feature works for Apple Health trackers too so I'm guessing that's not it but I can't tell if this request is about another one (vacation mode) or something totally new. Thanks so much for the feedback!

Adding the delta on Goal Value Chart
Add the delta between Pace and Progess onto the charts view.
e.g. my current running goal is 1,282 km, my pace is 652.3 and my progress is 577.4, it would be good to show the difference between, in this case I am -74.8

Snooze within the app
I see a snooze option pop up on my iPhone but there is No snooze option when I’m in the “due now” list. Please add a snooze option there.

Enter Sub-Category of a Habit & Track by Color on the Calendar
For example, I want to have the habit of "Creating" each day - whether that be writing, photography, or videography. If it's a rainy day, it may be best for writing OR I may spend time with both photography and videography. I'd like to color-code the subcategories so that when I look back at the "Creating" habit calendar, I can see how I split my "Creating" time over the past month (in addition to how many days I was successful at incorporating "Creating" into my day).

Macro Ratio
I’m currently working on fixing my diet and fitness. One major part of it is maintaining a ratio between fat, protein, and carbs.
Currently I’m trying to use the Apple health task to this. However, they work like an average number tracker. The problem with this is if the number of calories I intake changes, so should the number of my macros.
So my idea was to make a new Apple Health tracker for each macro, based on percent instead of number.
For example, 1g of fat is worth 9cal. So:
Apple Health sends 50g of fat and 900cal.

filter by untagged habits
We can filter by tag but I just want to add the feature of filtering by habits with no tag! That way I could easily see if something doesn’t have a tag when it should have one or if there’s enough similar untagged habits to warrant a new category. As an organization lover I would really like this feature! I have a lot of habits and it would be exhausting to regularly go through the settings of each one to make sure it had a tag. I would really appreciate being able to review all the untagged habits at once…

Apple Watch complications showing current progress of chosen tracker
Currently Strides supports only “Launch strides” type of complcations. This Apple Watch feature could be much more useful.
How could they work:
1. Add a complication
2. Choose complication from available Strides’complications
3. Choose available trackers
4. Track your progressVisible info on complications:
- current number (eg. current page of a book)
- progress bar of choosen tracker goal progress (% of read pages)
- left to do today to match daily goal (optional - for additional info to previous two or as a different type of complication)Most important types of complications:
- corner
- circular3 votesThanks for reaching out! Great idea. Just to make sure I'm understanding correctly, you basically want the ability to tap a complication to instantly log Yes for a Habit tracker, right?
If it's a type that requires a number or percent to log it would just open the Apple Watch app so you can enter the value, just like the iOS widgets. Is that all what you're picturing? Anything else you'd like to add?
