Add ability to use hyperlinks
One use case: Right now I have Physical Therapy homework to do 4 times a day, with a longer explanation... would love it if I could create Strides habits for "PT #1 of 4", "PT #2 of 4", and then link to my document (in this case, in Notion) with a page full of detail.
Another use case: I keep a log of physical fitness activities... so while Strides is great for binary "Yes/No" tracking, I can't record weights/ reps etc. or times & mileage for running - would be great if Strides was my master tracker that I could…1 voteHi Kurt,
Thanks for reaching out! Great idea, I'm thinking through how we could implement it now. In the meantime, I wanted to mention a couple things that might help:
- The Log with Note setting for Habit trackers allows you to add a note with a Yes/No log. Or, you can add a note after logging by long-pressing/right-clicking the habit.
- You can track any number goal with the Target and Average tracker types, which also can include notes. Also, the Apple Health integration allows you to track fitness activities automatically.
I totally get that Notion is a powerful tool for notes and documents so it probably wouldn't be a full replacement but wanted to mention it in case it could in some cases for you.
I'll think through the hyperlinks idea, thanks again!

Track 1 habit followed by another repeating
I do 1 thing for 14 days, then a second for another 14 days and it repeats. There should be a way to set up a tracker for that.
As a female utilizing seed cycling I’d like to track not only that I ate the seeds each day, but also which set of seeds I’m supposed to take, so that I can more easily keep track of the process. This seems like a natural fit for the strides app as it’s a habit, just a rotating one.

Intention setter
Allow users to create/set an intention for the day and then perhaps rate their effectiveness attaining it by the end of the day either with a Leikert scale or something else.
1 voteThat's a neat idea, thanks for sharing! This is possible, here's how I'd set it up:
- Create an Average tracker with a Goal like 5 for a 1-5 rating, for example. e.g. Intention: X
- In the morning, set the day's intention as the Tracker Name, like "Intention: Today's intention goes here"
- At the end of the day, rate it from 1-5, and it will track the average rating per day.
Hope that helps. Best of luck with all your goals & habits!

Quarterly Goals
I’d love to suggest adding the option for quarterly goal tracking to your app. Right now, monthly and yearly goals are great, but there’s a crucial middle ground that’s missing — and it’s one that many users like myself (and my clients) rely on.
Here’s why quarterly goals matter:
More sustainable than monthly: Monthly goals can feel rushed, especially for users with unpredictable schedules or who travel often. One missed week can throw off the whole plan. Quarterly goals provide breathing room without losing focus.
More focused than yearly: Yearly goals can be too abstract or overwhelming. Quarterly planning helps…

Add Saturated Fat to Apple Health Tracker Option
Important to track - read even more important than total fat!
1 voteThanks for the feedback. I added Saturated Fat to our list. Have a great day!

Allow for a custom date range for the Average Chart setting
Either that or allow for seeing a 2 month average. (I do reviews every two months instead of every quarter.)
Thanks!

Inbox section to list all the future goals before making it a tracker.
I really miss such an option - need to switch between app and notes.

Weekly widget and home page
A widget option and home page in the app that shows the entire week for the goals, so you can see consistency for the week at a glance. Right now you can only see daily. Just a circle for each day of the week/habit, and you can click the goal to check it off for the day in the widget or home page
4 votesCool idea, thanks! I'll keep an eye on this one. In the meantime, if you haven't tried the Progress widget you might like it! It shows a progress bar for the 3-7 trackers you choose, including how you're doing on weekly habits, and you can tap to log them. Have a great day!

Set a track's maximum skip times for a week or month
Maybe I need a vacation for a track, but it could not be every day. So I want to set a maximum values of skip times per week or per month

register by email
I'd love to register by my own email and password rather than icloud.. I feel it's more easier for me to login from anywhere, any deivce..
is this possible now?3 votesThanks for reaching out. We had a web app with email login for years but it was rarely used and lost a lot of money so we ended up shutting it down and switching to the simpler iCloud sync with no email required. I'm still considering other platforms in the future though so thanks for the feedback!

Be able to log a note as you go through the day without completing a tracker.
Find myself wanting to capture something before I complete a tracker. Say I track my daily diet on 1-10 scale and have a donut for brunch. Don't think I can enter that as a note currently without completing the tracker. Thanks.
1 voteThanks for the idea! I'll think about how this could work. Currently you're right, the only way to do this would be to log, which you can also do by long-pressing the tracker and tapping Add Note, but that will log and move it to Done for the day. In that case, you ca always swipe right or tap the green checkmark to add another log, or long-press and edit the log value if needed.

Statistically Analyse user behaviour trends on days they don’t meet up
I’m suggested this after I realize I’m failing at a specific habit on Monday, Tuesday and mostly on Sunday or Saturday. It’s different for the different habits and I was only able to see this because I looked as the calendar and saw a pattern with the colors. Having a kind of automated stats analyzer plus feedback both positive and negative can help the user improve a specific habit

Net Carbs… please
Can you please add net carbs to an update? For those tracking meals in MyFitnessPal, or other application, and are serious about a low-carb diet, it would be a “Big Deal” feature because it’s not common among habit trackers. Likely would attract tons of subscribers if you update SEO and the Apple/Google Play stores.

github style grid view
I would love to see github style grid view of different timeframes (weekly, monthly, yearly) and also on the widget. It's motivating to keep the streaks going without opening the app

Allow users to set a running speed pace
This would allow Users to set their goal pace for their chosen distance. For example, being able to set a goal completion time of 30 minutes for a 5k run or 3 hours for a marathon. Not only do you hit daily goals, but you’re hitting more specific metrics that help motivate.

Improve widget's information density
If I compare the large widget information density with Todoist or Things, it is disappointing.
I use Strides instead of Streak, etc. because I have many habits, and need a tool to figure out what is next. It is the outcome I am looking for.
Strides now shows me three habits in large compact, and a "+x more today" text. For comparison, the widget from Things shows 10 lines and the one from Todoist 9. It is a such a significant difference!
I do not consider switching; however, I will humbly suggest this feature here, as I may not be…
4 votesThanks for the feedback! I totally agree, that widget wasn't designed to show as many trackers as possible because of the extra info it includes in the subtitles.
That said, the new Progress widgets can show up to 7 trackers and include progress bars. You can still log from them too. Hope that helps while I look into updating the old widgets.
Best of luck with all your goals & habits!
