Track Screen time
My worst habit is playing games. I'd love to simply track my progress on managing this habit. The easiest way would be to synchronise with Screen Time.
4 votesGreat idea! I've wondered about this too. Now that Apple Health integration is wrapping up I'll definitely look into it.
In the meantime, one option is to use the Shortcuts app to create a shortcut to log a bad habit in Strides whenever you open an app you'd like to minimize, like a game or social media app.
Hope that helps!

Enable the apple watch complication and iPhone widget to show # of due remaining
I'd really like to be able to glance at my apple watch or the widget on my iPhone's home screen and see how many items are due. Right now they both show "progress towards a successful day". e.g. if there are 4 total tasks, 1 "Done", and 2 "Missed", the tally is 1/4. I'd like it to be 3/4.
The thinking is what's missed is missed and behind me, and I'd like to focus on what I have left to do. Thank you in advance!
P.S. Thank you for using UserVoice and collecting feedback from real users in the first…

Be able to remove the subtitle under each tracker title
To make list cleaner, I prefer to just see the tracker titles.

Ability to skip at week/month/year level
It appears you are able to skip a week but only by skipping each individual day within the week so ideally you’d be able to skip an entire week at the same time. same goes for month.. currently you aren’t even able to skip a month by skipping individual days so perhaps that’s a bug
2 votesHi Clark,
Thanks for reaching out!
The way it's set up Skip is designed to skip one due date. If you skip each due date in a week or month that entire time period will be considered skipped in all the formulas too.
It could get complicated changing the experience (and the code under the hood) to give the choice of skipping the entire week/month/year at once, and it would encourage not doing the habit.
That said, I see how it would save time in some cases, so I'm definitely open to it. I'll leave it up here to see if more votes come in.
Thanks so much for the feedback!

Api integration For my project
I am a web developer interested in creating a focusing group app and would like to integrate it with your platform. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with all the information about your platform, including its features, pricing, and any other relevant details that can i use to integrate with your amazing platform

Allow entry of data type for goal tracking
Right now, I have a few average trackers, but when I look at the goals, they say 5 per day, 4 per week, and 3 per day. Instead It would be awesome to be able to enter what I’m tracking per goal so that they appear as 5 minutes per day, 4 times per week, and 3 pages per day for my different trackers.

Subgoals: Automatically complete top level habit when habits under it are complete
The Strides app should include a subgoals feature, allowing you to break down a goal into smaller tasks. When you open the app's Home Screen, you will only see the main goal initially. However, by pressing a drop-down menu button, you can view all the associated subgoals. For instance, you could have a goal named "Supplements" with subgoals like fish oil, creatine, and multivitamin. Once you finish all the subgoals, the main goal will be automatically marked as completed.

Please come to android. Help more people.
It would make the world more better if it's available on more platforms? Is it that much a big task to leave your comfort zone and spread accross the world?
4 votesI want to help as many people as possible with Strides, but unfortunately yes, it is a *very big* task to build a separate Android version of Strides. It would cost a ton of money and take far more time than I have to maintain and support at this point. My plan is to continue focusing on one platform for now, and if it grows enough to be able to try an Android app I will. Thanks for the feedback!

Charts - Average "This Week" option
on the chart's view, it's better to also better to have an option for "this week" so on the first bar, you can see your average/day for this week and compare it on the second bar that is the average/day from last week.
in this way you can also compare data every week and see if you are improving.
Also its better if you can also see the historical data, average/day from the past weeks not only.

Set Goal # for Habit Trackers
It has occurred to me lately that one thing that makes the habit tracker more effective is having a definite, limited goal — i.e. the “goal streak”.
There is currently no way to have go goal total for a habit tracker — i.e. do this habit x number of times. This is a small tweak, but I think it would go a long way in helping to motivate follow through with certain kinds of habits for which the streak is not as important as the repetitions.
I recognize that one could use the “Target number by date”, but this removes…
1 voteThanks for reaching out! The Target tracker was built for this type of goal, but if you'd prefer not to log with the number pad for this situation the best solution I can think of with the current setup would be to scale the goal up to a longer time period.
For example, if you want to do something 1 time per day, but you want to be motivated by making progress over time, you could change the goal to 30 times per month or even 365 times per year.
That way, the Progress Report will gradually fill up throughout the time period you choose to keep you motivated to stay on track like the Target tracker.
Hope that helps! I'll keep an eye on this idea to see if anyone else wants a separate feature for this.

Add Glucose and Insulin from Apple Health
Add Glucose from Apple Health. Being able to track average per day or threshold for each reading would be helpful.
Also adding insulin from Apple Health. Being able to track number of injections per day or threshold per injection would be good.

Calories surplus
Could you please add calories surplus with Apple health. This should be the opposite of calories deficit, which will help people who are trying to gain weight.
3 votesHi, I'm looking into this and seeing if it gets more votes. In the meantime, you can do this by setting your energy deficit goal as a negative number. Tap the +/- sign to the left of the Goal number to do that. I know it's a bit odd to use a double negative that way, but figured it was worth mentioning that it's possible with the current setup since our roadmap is packed at the moment and I'm not sure when we would be able to add this. Best of luck with all your goals & habits!

Accomplishment Tracking
It would be great to have a one stop app that could track accomplishments and goals at the same time.
An accomplishment is more or less equivalent to a completed goal but it would be awesome not to have to go through the interface of goal creation just to create a quick record of something happening. Something like the app 3 wins.
Just date (time optional) and description. Maybe category as well with a couple templates overall.
Most of the things I want to track are big events in my life that seem to be somewhat random and unplanned. However…

Enable importing habits from JSON or CSV or logging on past dates via shortcuts
It would be great to be able to upload past habit data from other apps. If it were possible to import habits via an editable file (in whatever format works for you), then it would be possible to export habits from another app into CSV, then, modify the CSV file into whatever format you use, then import it.
Alternatively, if you make it possible to log habits via Shortcuts on past days (right now it’s only possible to log a habit value for the present day), then it would be possible to at least write a shortcuts script to migrate…
2 votesHi Dan,
Thanks for reaching out!
I've considered full data importing for a long time but it's an extremely rare request and would require quite a bit of development to get it right so I haven't prioritized it yet.
That said, I did just add a feature that can save a ton of time for the most common habits with a goal of 1 time per day: You can create a new habit with those settings and a start date in the past and it will ask if you did the habit every day from the start date. If you tap yes it will automatically backlog all those days for you so you can keep the streak you had going.
Hope that helps! I'll keep this idea open for others to vote on it.
Have a great day,

Completion rate for average tasks
Current behavior: i have an Average Tracker which i want to execute at least 3 times/week. I don't care which days of the week i do it, but just the total amount. At the end of the week i unfortunately discover that i did it only 2 times, the other days i skipped it because i couldn't do it. I go into Reports and i see that, amazingly, the Tracker Completion Rate is 100% (2/2) for the week. This is logically wrong.
Expected behavior: the Completion Rate is smart enough to know that for this week i was supposed to…
1 voteThanks for reaching out! I totally understand, and it's great that you want it to accurately reflect how many times you did it throughout the week.
The Average tracker is designed for tracking repeating numbers (e.g. Run 5 miles per week, Budget of $X or less per month, etc) so it is handled a bit differently than the Habit tracker, which is designed for repeating action goals like this one (e.g. Do something 3 times per week).
Creating a habit tracker and backlogging the days you did it should help with this. I'm also planning to do an update to improve the Trends Report soon so that should make it even better.
Best of luck with all your goals & habits!

Track numbers without goals
There’s habits and events I need to track for informational purposes, like figuring out where I am in a practice or tracking something for upcoming dr appt. Requiring a goal makes that difficult. Identifying trends is good, too. Apple health looks at my data and says “you’ve been doing x this much more often during the last twelve weeks”. I may not have mastered my goal of reading every day or getting 8hrs sleep per night, but is my accuracy improving? Is the number closer to the goal than before? That can be really useful information!

filter by untagged habits
We can filter by tag but I just want to add the feature of filtering by habits with no tag! That way I could easily see if something doesn’t have a tag when it should have one or if there’s enough similar untagged habits to warrant a new category. As an organization lover I would really like this feature! I have a lot of habits and it would be exhausting to regularly go through the settings of each one to make sure it had a tag. I would really appreciate being able to review all the untagged habits at once…

Show all completed items (including ones which were not due that day) in the "Done" section in Today view
For trackers which are due on certain days of the week, doing them on other days records the log and registers any goals like x times per y, but these do not show up as completed in the Today view when done on days when they were not due, e.g. when you complete a task a day later. It would be great if all items marked completed are shown in the "Done" section, regardless of whether they were due that day.

Missed
All goals that I don’t mark as completed, I would like them to automatically be marked as MISSED at the end of the day.
1 voteHi Cara,
I'd like to get more detail on this one. Currently anything not logged for the day stays in Due, but that's the same as moving to Missed as far as all the formulas and charts go (e.g. Broken streaks, lower success rate, etc).
The Missed section is mostly for preventing reminders for the rest of the day and getting rid of the badge when there's something you know you won't be doing today.
So, I'm curious to hear your thoughts on why you'd like them to be moved to Missed automatically at midnight when the day is over.
Thanks!
