Goals Hierachy
I’d like to request a feature for Strides that enables a goal hierarchy similar to OKRs. Each tracker would represent a Key Result tied to an overarching Objective, which serves as the motivating goal. Additionally, there should be “MOALs” (Massive Overarching Ambitious Long-term Goals) that act as long-term aspirations, into which OKRs can contribute progress. This hierarchy would provide structure and clarity for achieving both short- and long-term goals.
3 votesHi Adrian,
Thanks for the suggestion! I'm marking this as Reviewing so other people can vote on it too. In the meantime, I wanted to mention that you can use the Tags & Filters feature to set this up now.
Each tracker can have one or more tags for the high-level goals you mentioned, and the Group by Tag filter on the Progress Report creates a section for each one with stats about how that high-level goal is going, using the progress/status of all the trackers under it.
Hope that helps. Best of luck with all your goals & habits!

Apple Watch complications showing current progress of chosen tracker
Currently Strides supports only “Launch strides” type of complcations. This Apple Watch feature could be much more useful.
How could they work:
1. Add a complication
2. Choose complication from available Strides’complications
3. Choose available trackers
4. Track your progressVisible info on complications:
- current number (eg. current page of a book)
- progress bar of choosen tracker goal progress (% of read pages)
- left to do today to match daily goal (optional - for additional info to previous two or as a different type of complication)Most important types of complications:
- corner

If it's a type that requires a number or percent to log it would just open the Apple Watch app so you can enter the value, just like the iOS widgets. Is that all what you're picturing? Anything else you'd like to add?

Option to turn off "streaks" viewing
I would like to see an option to turn off "streaks" data to not have to see how many weeks in a row you have missed your goal amount for your habits for the week. I like to keep track of my habits and log them, such as my workouts, but i don't always want to see the streak aspect of it as it can be distracting or discouraging to "lose a streak" when i don't hit my ideal goal amount for the week as i mainly use the app to log my habits normally and not for streaks.

set up a management portal so it can be used with schools
set up a management portal so it can be used with schools. Teachers would then be able to monitor their students. This management portal should be able to link to a SSO provider that the school is using.

List goals by due date
I want to list my goals by due dates so that I can plan and prioritise accordingly. Is there already a feature I couldn’t find? If not, I would love to have this feature.
My goals consist of short term goals, long term goals and mid term goals.
Sub divided into monetary goals, asset goals, family goals, aspiration goals and business goals.
1 voteThanks for reaching out! Currently you can sort the milestones within a project by their due date, but there's no global sort by due date since two of the four tracker types don't have a due date (Habit and Average are repeating, Target and Project have due dates).
That said, you could definitely reorder all of your goals so they're in order by their due date. It'd be quick to long-press and tap Reorder Trackers then drag & drop them in order of due date, so even if a date changes that's a simple change to make.
Once you get them in the order you want the Group by Tag feature on the Progress Report might be helpful too, because you could see a separate group for each area (e.g. Business) with those goals in the order you chose within the group.
Hope that helps!

Separate Timing for Multiple Daily Habit Occurrences
For habits that are scheduled to repeat twice daily, there should be an option to set separate times for each occurrence. Currently, both instances are locked to a single timing option, which limits flexibility and does not allow for scheduling one instance in the morning and the second in the afternoon or evening.
Add functionality to specify distinct times for each occurrence of a habit within the same day, enabling users to set custom times that fit their routines more precisely.
1 voteWhen we beta tested the Routines feature we found that keeping multiple per day habits set to Any Time or Morning did the trick for 99% of them because they needed to be viewed all day either way.
That said, you can always add unlimited reminders to each habit so it's common to have specific times for notifications like 6am and 9pm to floss, for example.
I'll keep an eye out for any more requests for this.
Best of luck with all your goals & habits!

Organize Trackers With A ‘Primary’ Tag Subheading
Saw that this was suggested before but closed out. Would still love to see the ability to toggle on ‘sort tasks by tag’ for due items (and custom sort within those categories?). Potentially with the ability to collapse the groupings if scrolling/visibility is a concern? I know we can filter, but really would like to see all listed and sorted at the same time.
3 votesThanks for the feedback! We added the Group by Tag feature to the Reports tab for this use case and it's working really well. Have you tried that yet?
As for doing this on the Today tab that's a lot trickier since it's designed to show status headings for only trackers that are due today.
If the Reports tab's Group by Tag feature doesn't cover your use case I'd like to hear your thoughts on that, and if you'd just want to sort the Due, Done, Missed and Skipped sections by their tags. That's still a bit complex since each tracker can have multiple tags, but it is possible that we could add the option to choose a primary tag so I could think through that.
Have a great day!

Pause Habits
I have a few habits that are work-related. When I go on vacation, I don't want to mark the habits as complete if I am not in the office and not doing them. I would love an option in the settings for each habit (or project or...) where I could pause or suspend that particular item.
2 votesThanks for reaching out! I'm considering a pause feature for the future. In the meantime, you can swipe left and use the Skip feature to move the ones you don't want to do out of the Due section without them counting against you on vacation.
Best of luck with all your goals & habits!

Snooze Due tracker to later in the day
Need to snooze in currently due. I don’t want to move it to evening because sometimes I can get it done in the morning, but I really like to have no red dots on my app icons.

Integrate Habit Import from Strides to Apple Reminders
I would like to propose a feature that allows users to import habits from Strides into the Apple Reminders app. This integration would provide more flexibility for users who prefer to manage their tasks and habits in one central app, like Apple Reminders, while still benefiting from the habit tracking and goal-setting features of Strides.
This feature could help streamline task management and habit tracking, improving user experience by syncing these two tools seamlessly.

Add "Spirituality" template category
You have included "prayer" as one of the templates under "Wellness," but perhaps you could add an entire category that is labeled as "Spirituality" and within that label, you could include prayer, church attendance, ministering, service, scripture study, meditation, etc.

Hi, please bring this app to Microsoft Laptops. I personally have a Microsoft laptop, but have an iPhone and iPad.
Get the app on Microsoft laptops, and this will enable those who have apple devices but not a MacBook; to enable them to enjoy this app on their Microsoft laptops.
1 voteThanks for reaching out! We had a web app for years but unfortunately we ended up having to shut it down because it was very rarely used and lost a lot of money. That said, we did build a Mac app for desktop use, and even though all of our users are primarily in the Apple ecosystem it's not used much compared to iPhone either. We were able to do that much more easily than a Windows app because it shares code with iPhone/iPad so I don't think we'll be able to bring it to Windows. Never say never though, it's possible we'll have a web app again in the future for Windows. I would love to do that if possible!
Best of luck with all your goals & habits,

Stop asking free users to upgrade every day
In the last week or so, the app has started pestering me almost every day to upgrade. I understand the desire to create more paying customers, but the constant full-screen prompts make the free tier almost unusable. I have been a premium subscriber for periods in the past, but at the moment I'm considering switching to a different app that doesn't do this. Can the prompts be less often, even if it's once per week or month?
1 voteHi, this is Kyle, the CEO of Strides. Just wanted to reply to thank you for taking the time. I really appreciate it. I read every bit of feedback and take it all to heart to make Strides better.
We are a very small, self-funded company building an ad-free service that keeps your data private. It's only possible to continue running this business if people upgrade for premium features.
We weren't showing our premium plan nearly often enough and it was hurting the business for years. Many popular, highly-rated apps, some of which have been selected as Editor's Choice and even won Apple Design Awards, show their paywall right when the app is launched. That's what experts recommend, but I felt that would be too distracting in Strides.
So, I decided to try showing the upgrade view once after every single tracker has been logged for the day, so there's…

Order by streak length
To support with the ‘don’t break the chain’ motivational technique, order habits by streak length. This can help you prioritise habits that have the longest streaks and keep that motivation high!
Other apps are capable of doing this, and it works.
At the moment, the ‘progress’ feature doesn’t track streaks, only seemingly daily progress where multiple instances are required, so it isn’t possible. At the moment, I have to scroll back and forth through my habits list to look at which has the highest streak length, which is a small but grating pain.
Thanks for reading 🙂
3 votesThanks for reaching out! Good idea adding this to the sorting options. I'm looking into that now. In the meantime, we built a premium report for this on the Reports tab called Rankings. It ranks all your Habit & Average trackers by their streak lengths so you can celebrate the best ones and for inspiration to get the other streaks going.

Move to Evening option
Please add a “Move to evening” or “Move to end” option.
— For example: forgot to take my medication this morning. I’ll take it when I get home, BUT I don’t want it at the top of my list all day.Sort of like Snooze from notifications but for the order in the Due section of the Today tab.

Add a checklist for habits
Some habits that I am working on developing are both a habit and a routine. So to complete that day's habit and develop the routine, there are multiple tasks that need to be done.
For example, I might create the habit "Start the Work Day" and there are four or five steps/tasks that are involved: turn on computer, make coffee, check if my staff is online, spend 30 minutes on email. Having each one as a checklist item would be helpful.
1 voteThanks for reaching out! This is a cool idea. In the past I've recommended using the Routines feature and having a habit tracker for each part of the routine, but I see how these smaller things might not justify having a tracker for each one.
I'll keep an eye on votes for this one and work on a design for it. I'm picturing the log view for a habit with a checklist being very similar to the Milestone Checklist feature, which would show when you tap or swipe to log it. Let me know if you had any other specific ideas in mind, like if you'd have to tap to complete each subtask in order to be able to log the habit for the day, or if it would have to keep track of when you did each subtask (that would add a lot of complexity).
Thanks again!

Can Face ID protection be added?
Face ID is a faster way to keep data secure instead of doing passcode.
1 voteThanks for this! I've been surprised that no one has requested it in the years since we added Privacy Lock so I'm glad it's been added now. I'll keep an eye out for other votes and prioritize it when we can. Have a great day!

Pause all trackers, including those that are Apple health integration
The workarounds with notifications do not work for integrations - all my goals are mostly integrations. Please, add an option to pause any tracker I want including the ones from integrations. P.S: I have a lifetime subscription with you if it means anything 😀
3 votesThanks for reaching out, and for your support! It means a lot. 😀
Just checking in to make sure I'm understanding this correctly: when you say "pause" a tracker, do you want to skip a day so it doesn't count against you? Or something else? The Skip feature works for Apple Health trackers too so I'm guessing that's not it but I can't tell if this request is about another one (vacation mode) or something totally new. Thanks so much for the feedback!
